Monsoon
A Rainstorm has come to the forests of Bel'shir. Overflooding the long twisting river that runs through it. Outsiders fight over the old temple bridges located at the area where the river narrows, as they provide the only truly safe passage across the djungle river.
This is an experimental melee map i am working on, it holds expansions in close proximity to your main, but that does not mean they are easy to defend. As each base has multiple routes to entry. To defend them properly you must control the large spaces surrounding the river to sieze your dominance.
More pictures are in the images section. This map is stil in alpha/beta stages and i am suspecting there is some balancing to do. Any feedback is appreciated.
I have fixed some minor balance issues including the larger issue of the natural not being able to be expanded to.
Yeah, i noticed that too, i am working on an updated version where i will have fixed that and a few other minor issues. I might scale down the rain abit or atleast spread it more across the map.
Edit: Expansion Issue Fixed
In at least one of the expansions there wasn't enough space to build a base (gas/minerals too close to each other.
I think it looks cool, but all the effects massively slowed down my PC. Maybe toning it down at least a little bit would help.
