Metamorphisis
You are a test subject that runs around. As you kill things you gain money and evolve into different units and get stronger. Use the money to buy upgrades and abilities. Type "skip" to skip some of the cinematics
If you download please give some feedback, it is all appreciated, and I will do my best to implement it.
you suck it does not work
the metamorphing to use different units is a cool concept. had fun playing it through. however, the biggest drawback is waiting on health to regen for all the unit types. helps to have a book to read while waiting, especially for the archon
every new unit type was very easy to use after the marine and marauder. the only real weapon the marine and marauder have is run speed. giving each player unit innate special abilities might make it more fun overall and easier for the marine and marauder.
the archon had tons of health and shields but no regens to match. had to find something else to do while waiting for him. maybe giving him a lot less health, small shield and way to heal himself would help?
there were white numbers on the screen at all times while fighting, counting up as the player got kills. located just above the control group 1 icon. the numbers would fade when the fighting was done after a few seconds
hi cantido, it is a great map but delete one rock at the end of the game, it is extremly unfair if you target the wrong rock you have to destroy 2 rocks to pass. 2 rocks are stacked
This is a decent game, but it was extreamly easy.. i was able to 3 shot the ultras at the end and it goot boring really fast, i would suggest either A) make more units to fight or B ) i would just make it longer. Also if you are going to have the unit evolve ever X kills then i would get something after the Archon because it just got way to easy. And one final thing, i would remove some of the Marauder dammage, he was able to 1 shot 99% of the stuff i came across and that was with no upgrades. But that just my 2 cents worth. Not a bad map would like to see it when its in Released stage
No lol. After you kill the stalker your supposed to go back the way you came from, in the skinny corridor.
Was it supposed to end when i killed the stalker?
In my opinion this would be more fun if most of the units moved faster. I kept thinking I should try to avoid taking damage by hit and run tactics, but the enemies tend to be the same speed or faster than you, or ranged. It would give more of a chance to avoid damage if you play correctly.
The map is alright but it's pretty simple and not hard at all. You can pretty much just attack move through 90% of the map. It's also very one dimensional. All you have to worry about is one unit, no resource management, upgrades, abilities, or anything.
I Suggest you to upload a photo screen here to sc2mapster cuz many ppl try the maps if they see a cool photo about it... Its enough a screenshoot too ;) But this map is like... shit
