General Information:
MAD is a fast action-paced custom map for SC2 for up to 8 players! Go toe-to-toe in a variety of different game modes in this top-down Quake/UT style shooter! Fight alongside your friends, or launch a rocket in their face!
Using simple and intuitive controls you fight in the different arenas and do your best to 'frag' other players, and should you die you respawn shortly after. Powerups are scattered across the arena for you to collect, such as Speed Rune, Super Shield and Quad Damage.

General:
- FFA Mode now available!
- New UI Selection of Mode and Arena. And no, the background won't stay blank forever!
- New UI Reload Bar which appears when reloading.
- Lowered the score needed to win (due to increased survivability).
- Increased the size of marine minimap indicators.
- The zerglings have moved!
Marine/Rockets:
- Rocket direct damage reduced from 75 to 65.
- Marine max shield increased to 80.
- Rocket Jump self damage no longer consumes shield.
- Rocket Jump self damage reduced from 15 to 10.
- New Rocket and Rocket Jump explosions.
Powerups:
- All powerups now have a tooltip ingame.
- Supply Crate renamed to Health and has a new look. It no longer restores rockets or cancels reload.
- Health now restores 40 life down from 50, and will no longer be picked up if the player has full life.
- Speed Rune speed increase reduced from 30% to 25%.
- Speed Rune has a new visual effect.
- Shield Orb renamed to Super Shield and has a new look.
- Shield Spike renamed to Shield and has a new look.
- Shield and Super Shield will no longer be picked up if the player has full shield.
- Invisibility has a new look.
- Invisibility now works even while rocket jumping, except for a slight disturbance to the cloaking field during the take-off blast.
- Quad Damage has a new look and visual effect.
- Quad Damage sound effect removed from rocket explosions, remains for rocket firing.
- Quad Damage duration increased from 20 to 25 seconds.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the game didn't end when all players on a team had left.
- Fixed a bug where players would take direct damage from their own rockets if standing too close to the explosion.
- Fixed a bug where marines dropped a non-existent combat shield upon death. It was never there... nope, it was just your imagination.
Hello Acemore, my Idea is to place 2 teleporters at the side of the arena (symmetrical) which brings you to the other teleporter.
Advanced: 3 teleporters bringing you to a random of the 2 remaining teleporters advancedB: 4 teleporters bringing you to a random of the 2 remaining teleporters advancedC 4 clockwise
It is just an idea I know there will be some gameplay changing because of powerups with it. Hope you like it

Hello again, here is another Idea for the control: make the right mousebutton so that when you hold it down, you move. Here the bug should be a feature: stop moving If you fire when holding down the right mousebutton, because otherwise it would be too strong.

Overshield sounds cool, I might add something like that. But I can say that I have lots in store for activated abilities!

Extreamly FUN map. I can't freakin wait till you get it published on US servers. I might just have to stop laddering for a few months cause every chance I get, I will want to play this map. I'll be on the lookout. Thx again man.

Hey! great job on the map! Love it! :D well.. anyways for a power up idea I thought you could do a "Overshield" its a shield that is temporary but its a double shield so instead of 60 shield its 120 shield, but it lasts for about a minute or two... (slowly going down when its activated) (not by gun fire :P) but it also can come down by gun fire. Like you activate the power up (Overshield) then the shield slowly goes down without getting hit, but if it gets hit by weapon fire it goes down faster but only as long as its getting hit, after the enemy is killed or stops fireing then it goes to the normal decrease rate such as goes down 1 shield every second and when it gets hit then it goes down by 5 or what ever the damage is for the weapons... and when the shield is all the way down it goes to the defalt shield amount. WOW! that was a long explinaition but yeah... :D
Hey! Sorry for the lack of updates. Vacation among other things have kept me busy up until now.
However, I'm back now, and it's time for RAD!
- RAD will be officially published on Saturday 14th of august!
- The EU version which was out was secretly published and mainly used for testing purposes, although I know it was found and played by some.
- After the map is out, I'll continue improving it in any way I can with new features and additions, as well as listen to the feedback I receive!

I cant find this map, have you published since retail?
Decoy missles, slow and fast missles, curving missles, proximity bombs, sticky missles with an increased aoe and timer. Shredder missles!!! Shrapnel from previous explosions to slow units walking over the temporary aoe (no damage from shrapnel residue). ...colouring the missles and/or explosions may help team recognition.
Here are some things that I think would improve the map.
But overall, it is very good. I'd say it's easily the best custom map made so far.
Oh, and the rocket colliding and destroying each other is a good idea if you ask me.
Absolutely awesome. The UT sounds are just icing on the cake bro.
Why don't you make that rockets can destroy each other? And please localize and upload on EU server.
Didn't see it, gg popularity sort, but I'll take another look. I was more interested in exactly how you created that rocket jump ability; through the data editor or with triggers too?
