Ah right, yeah since I don't have an internet connection at the moment on my own computer I copied your tutorial into Word, so I could not see the white text - my bad. I'm having a movie night at the moment so I will work on the first timer later or tomorrow and update.
Edit: Okey, I failed. I accidently put Timer - Hide (Last created timer window) for (All players) instead of Timer - Show (Last created timer window) for (All players) in the Init trigger - thanks for your guide.
The environment changes are there in the tutorial in both triggers. I changed the font color to white so maybe thats why you can't see them... I took off the color tag for that set of actions.
As long as you are using this code for the int trigger it should work. The thing about triggers is that the order of operations is really really important, this order below works.
This also works. I changed the 'last started and last created timer window' to the actual variables Raise Lava Timer and Lava Timer Window.

Okey, I am currently using your tutorial to build a map from scratch to see if there is any difference. on your previous map, it worked fine until I changed anything on the map, then I got the weird timer window.
Edit: I just made a map by following your tutorial. First of all you forgot to add the enviorement changes to your triggers in your tutorial thread, so the water (Lava) levels actually change, however - you can see it if you look at the pictures. And secondly, don't know if I made a mistake but the first timer window does not show up even though it's supposed to at map initialization. And I am not sure if it was me or you who made a mistake, or if it is supposed to be like that but as soon as the lava STARTS to rise or fall then new timer pops up, should it now wait until the Lava has finished.. "surging"?
2nd Edit (Sorry for being a pain): Almost everything works now, the "wait" command was in the wrong place in my triggers, not sure if I just misunderstood the guide but the pictures cleared everything up. (I sound like a 2 year old) Only thing that does not work is the very first timer does not .. "spawn", The timers don't show up until the first Lava surge, after that they work fine. And from my first problem when I modified your map, about the timer window not displaying correctly, and displaying the ID instead, well don't have that problem when I built the map from the ground up. Anywho, in short - Thanks for the guide =)
I haven't had that problem before. I re-uploaded the map just in case.
Hey. I used this map to make my own map with Rising lava and whatnot. Only one problem. For whatever reason the timer window does not display the text in the trigger, but says "Param/Value/"a bunch of numbers".
Any idea why? Just started using the editor, only did very basic maps in SC1.
Edit: Just found your tutorial on the forums and I will check it out in a bit.
