Island Troll Tribes Remake
Currently Enabling Basic AI to play with/against
This map is based off of the concept of Island Troll Tribes for warcraft 3.

I have gotten rid of all the mountains!!
You are now on an exceptionally large map of islands
There are bugs still apparent but i need help finding them all i can only test so much.
There are new features added cant really remember them all
You must install the Mod file into your Starcraft II/Mod folder
You can then play the map or open it in the editor to take a look and play.
its been 5 months since i started redoing the terrain and implementing other features i hope everyone enjoys.
A few things to note:
Trees can be cut down with an axe Wait about 5 seconds next to a tree with your axe equiped and you can target it and cut it down
there are a special type of rock you can mine get a pick axe and stand next to it for about 5 seconds and you can target it.
Hunger is now and Attribute it is underneath your other stats.
Eating is now an ability use it to increase hunger: USINGthe item in the inventory will heal you not increase hunger level!!!!!

Swords are only used by warriors.
Staves are only used by Shamans.
Bows are only used by Hunters.
Daggers and Axes are used by All Classes.

Currently trying to figure out new Jungle Terrain from WoW.
Need to create custom terrain then add custom trees hoping to add it as a Mod/Dependency Will greatly increase Playability

New Features Working:
-Panthers now have male female status and will mate to create Panther Cubs
-Minimap has been reverted to Original can show/hide by pressing M
-Weapon Slot and Talent Item Swap are now able to carry both types.
-Talent Slot in Inventory will not allow you to equip items strictly for carrying items.
When Fishing Rod is Equiped Attack Command gets replaced with fish Command
-Fish Now randomly Spawn and can be found by the Fish Icon or Blue Sparkles
-Mines are now generic rocks you must have a mining pick equipped to be able to target them
-Trees can only be targeted with an Axe

-Fish and Cattails only spawn in water

just wanted to show you something lol... PM me if you're interested.
Just so everyone knows im still working on this project im currently doing a complete overhall on the terrain
its going slowly im really trying to make sure it is detailed and nice im getting rid of the tons of rocks and cliffs
i have also made the assets into a mod so that in the future i can change the terrain at will with little changes needing to be made.
It will be going slow but i will hopefully get it up and playable in the next few weeks.
Also I am redoing the Fishing and Mining to make it possible for anyone to fish/Mine
just to make it a bit more fun this may get rid of the whole leveling abilities do to the fact it would imbalance the game.
It will end up being that anyone can mine or fish as long as they have a Mining Pick or Fishing Rod. Currently working on this system and the New Terrain.
I will upload some pictures in a few weeks to see what everyone thinks. Im also adding lots more trees and changing the camera a bit.
Thanks for the Feedback Dreme as this is still in its development stage i will definitely take these things into consideration.
If im understanding your complaints are:
To many mountain areas
Characters are too small
Items are too small
Camera angle is wrong or bad
Minimap is bad
Here is why i have done it this way
the mountains are everywhere because the cliffs in sc2 just dont fit right nor do the behave the way i want them too.
The terrain will always be changing and i have noticed that the map is quite bare.
The reason the items and characters are so small is so that i can make the map larger.
The smaller the units the farther they must travel this allows for an exceptionally large playing area.
The camera seems weird because the units are so small i had to lower the default values.
There is an option which allows you to turn camera rotation on this helps with some areas where you would need a first person view to enter.
I have been debating changing the map back to the regular one but im still unsure if that's how i want it.
Mostly because with the starcraft 2 map you can click and your unit will find any path he can to get there i want the player to have to navigate on there own
I will take care to try and fit in your ideas due to me having to work it will be a lot slower for updates

I tested the game out to see how fun it would be and it was alright. Its easy to get used to the game but there's a few things i don't like about this game. First the camera angles are very awkward and i cant see items sometimes, The map is very well made but theres a few problems with it. the mountain terrains are very annoying. I can't even see my character without one of those huge rocks in the way. it doesnt really feel like a island troll tribe game because theres almost no trees. Most of the terrain is huge rocky mountains that block your screen from you seeing anything. also the items are very small sometimes i dont even know what i pick up. you should try making them bigger and more noticable. another thing is that the map you bring up in your screen is not reliable. its hard to figure out where you are. you should keep the original sc2 map instead of the one you created. heres some ideas i want you to think about.
remove almost all of the rocky mountains and replace them with trees. not huge trees that will block your screen. the regular sized ones that were in the original game so that you could make a hideouts for you team to bring supplies to. also i feel as though the characters in the game are too small. you should bring them back to normal size. make the items bigger and let the camera angle alone i feel like the regular sc2 camera is good enough. please think about my ideas i feel as though u can make this into a really good game
When i complete this map further is there anyone willing to upload it to the EU server? To my understanding there seems to be a much bigger custom map audience on the EU side.
A new version is available all buildings should be fully functional.
Revive should be fixed i will do more testing in a while.

So im currently trying to figure out this whole building issue and i have made a little head way but not a lot the items can be built but the buildings are able to move and this is an issue since a building should not be able to move unless taken apart still working on a fix of some sort a little at a loss for what to do right now.
Wow thanks so much i cant believe i missed this i will put this at the top of my to do list. The issue is it can take the items out of the inventory but it cant seem to put the item in the inventory of the building trying to make some kind of fix for it.
On second thoughts perhaps the spirit shrine glitch is due to the fact it was already in game and I had not actually built it and placed it personally in game.
Update on bugs: The issue if in-building recipe building is universal. I tried turning 2 copper ore into a copper bar and it was the same issue, except this time in neither way of trying to make it the ingredients did not disappear. And the same goes for trying to make daggers and axes. I have not tried to make anything else so far due to build priorities but it I'm guessing it is the same with making other items.
Also I cheated and put a spirit shrine in the editor so I could try and play it with the respawn option, and with this I noticed a few things. First of all it seems that sometimes when reviving with the shrine, once the countdown timer reaches its end, the SC2 error sound occurs and the character does not spawn. And once this happens the re-spawn button on the shrine is greyed out permanently. This has happened to me after the first try but also after 20 successful respawns. There seems to be no situational connections that I can see that cause this break so I'm sorry I cannot be more specific.
Furthermore when respawning, everything resets except for hunger, so in the instance that someone starves to death as soon as they spawn (which so far I cannot test as every time I try this the previous error occurs) in theory they would either immediately begin to die, or it could possibly incur a glitch where the player is immune to death by hunger (though that is just a theory).
Finally it just occurred to me that I never expressed my views on this map as a whole. In short, I love you. I love you for re-making an old favourite for a far more commonly used game with increased potential and mechanics. So essentially I want to help you by reporting these bugs, as I want to see this map in working order and spread in popularity!
Ok I will report some more stuff here (unless you prefer me to send you them in private messages) the main build system is fixed as you said which makes it possible for me to play and that is relieving! However I would like to ask if eating is supposed to heal you like in the original, as unfortunately it does not, I say this because it may be a glitch and it may not be.
But there is one I know of, and this is when it comes to in-building creation. As I don't know how to heal basically my tactic is to get up a witch doctors hut and a spirit shrine asap so I do not get mauled by a gorilla that wanders into my camp while already hurt. However when I put the 3 mana crystals and 3 rocks into the witch doctor hut inventory and then click Enchant, all of the ingredients disappear, and is not replaced by anything. Also there is nothing new created on the ground or in my trolls inventory. And absolutely nothing happens if I put the ingredients into the witch doctor hut inventory and click the "Spirit Shire" button on the recipes tab, the ingredients stay exactly where they are and nothing happens.
Also has the hunter been implemented yet? Because for me at least there is still no class selection.

I play this over and over and do lots of testing but i miss things
I believe i have fixed all these issues now i am still working on the hunter class. I will add a basic warrior and shaman soon they will have 1 bonus ability like the hunter.
Then i will work on upgradable abilities as well.
For now the hunter should be able to use all the weapons
Also there are some severe glitches when it comes to building. When I have ONLY the materials to build a mixing pot and I click on the mixing pot icon the ingredients disappear and is replaces by an omni-defender. Also if I try to build a witch doctor hut it puts a hatchery my inventory. So basically it is impossible for me to make it so I can have respawning.
Has the new updates been designed for single player? If so how do I select my class because no option occurs at all, and so I cannot use weapons. Also for some reason I cannot pick up cooked meat.
Although good work on the new enemies, makes survival a lot easier. And the new options allowing me to increase the drop rate of stuff, :)

Looks brilliant but I cannot survive whatsoever in single player, plus I'm in Europe so to the best of my knowledge I cannot play it on multiplayer (I have no Battle.net friends, and don't think it is possible to join Battlenet US)

I will definitely look into this issue with the animals i have actually found this myself the animals seem to murder 1 person that is the one thing I'm not sure of its supposed to be 3 on 1 team and your supposed to work together i will be adding some weaker bad guys as well such as crabs and eagles. there will be an ability on the hunter soon that will allow you to run faster as to avoid dieing. Also meat is gotten from killing animals i will be adding other ways as well in the near future. The meat then must be placed next to the fire and you can then select the cook button and your meat can be cooked. If you click the meat in your inventory it will heal you if you select the eat button in the top left it will make you less hungry

i just played your map and really liked it .... as far i was able to survive.
The main reason i starved so often was that it is hard to get into the game
without having played the original game in warcraft 3 .
For example i still dont know how i get food ^^ ... but that could also be me being dumb.
Maybe a tooltip or something like that....something that explains you the game mechanics a little bit more exactly.
Also i often got killed by the animals. I really sucked at that game but maybe you should give them a little bit less movement speed or a chance to get away...
I was playing alone because i play on EU so i have no idea about the multiplayer
