Summary
You, along with three other companions, are being deployed into the Infested Arena. You will have to work together as a team to make it through each round. You will have to revive your fellow teammates when they become incapacitated. You will have to dispatch hordes of Infested as they relentlessly attack for 3 minutes each round. You will have to gang-up on Special Infested Units (SIU) before they pick you off one-by-one. You will have to spend your money wisely to upgrade your hero to fit each occasion. Good luck

Specialists
Salv Abilities Included:
- Flash Heal - Instant Heal on self or ally (can be upgraded to include resurrection)
- Black Hole-AOE damage/crowd control spell
- Rejuvenating Tower-Heal teammates
- Shadow Step-Blink to another location, while leaving behind a shadow of Salv for the Infested to attack and giving a 5 second movement speed buff
Dead Eye Abilities Included:
- Dead Eye's Glaive-Throw a single glaive that splits into several glaives to hit multiple foes
- Thermonuclear Capsule-Damage everything in a single line, everything that is not killed is stunned for 5 seconds
- Phase Shift-Blink to designated position and give Dead Eye a Damage boost for 5 seconds
- Repulsion Tower-This tower emits force that only throws back Infested units
Seifer Abilities Included:
- Drone of Safeguard-Deploy a temporary drone that boosts all ally armor
- Ignition Wave-Start a combustive wave in a designated direction (AOE attack)
- Taunt-Pull Infested away from allies and draw them to attack you
- Psionic Barrier-Surround Seifer in a protective shield that reduces incoming damage and gives a minor health regen
Blaze Abilities Included:
- Napalm Bomb-Launch a devastating Fire explosive (AOE attack)
- Airstrike-Call in an Airstrike that drops missiles to designated target (AOE attack)
- Projectile Protectorate-Deploy a protective shield that brings all incoming enemy projectiles to a halt
- Rocket Jump-Get out of harms way by rocket jumping to another location, also grants Blaze a 5 second attack speed buff
All Skills are fully upgradable as the Specialist levels up
Randomizing the Infested Rounds
On top of your mass hordes of Infested units, I have implemented a random generator during Rounds that deploys Random Special Infested Units at Random Locations, at Random times. In essence, every round is different and every play experience is different.
List of Current Special Infested Units
1. Aberration - Extremely high Health, slow movement speed, high damage, can traverse up and down different elevated platforms
2. Creeper-Sent in to the Arena to cover it in Creep. Creep allows all Infested units 30-100% increase in movement speed and -30% to Specialists
3. Burster-Extremely fast moving suicide unit. If you kill this unit before it hits a specialist no harm is done. If it bursts open on a specialist all surrounding Infested units are put into a frenzy increasing their movement speed, attack speed, and no longer have collision with other infested units (allows units to stack) and the specialists who was hit becomes the primary target of all Frenzied Infested units.
4. Infested Puller-runs into the arena for one purpose... To pull a specialist out. Once the Infested Puller latches onto a specialist the Player loses all control of his Specialist as the Specialist is dragged out of the arena to be attacked by mobs of infested units. Only a fellow specialist killing this unit will release the specialist. (Only available for 2 or more players).
5. Infested Blade-Buffs all surrounding Infested with an attack upgrade. The Infested Blade has extremely high damage and can charge (while avoiding collision with other Infested units) towards specialists.
6. Infestination-A flying suicidal unit that Kamikazees into a specialist. If contact is made the Specialists is rendered unable to move or attack for a 10 second duration.
7. (NEW) Propagator- Spawns several Festerlings every 10 seconds if you allow this unit to burrow in the Arena
8. (NEW) Bulwark- Heavy armor SIU, continually buffs surrounding Infested with stackable armor buffs. Kill fast or the armor will stack quickly.
Note: Some of these infested units do not spawn until later rounds and all are set to randomly spawn at different times, different locations.
Unique Boss Battles
Incredibly powerful boss units that don't just have high health and damage. Rather, they have abilities that make the Specialists have to strategize to take them down.
Newly Implemented unique and individual specialists weapon modifications that enhance each specialist class.

- More Rounds
- More Bosses (and rework on current bosses)
- Higher Level Cap
- New Abilities and weapon and ability modifications

Ok, looks like you're already getting a lot of good feedback, but here's mine as well and the two bugs I've noticed.
When an Infestor is latched onto somebody and the round ends, the Infestor dies, but it's tentacle remains clinging onto the person pretty much indefinitely.
When Blaze (?) used his jump ability from one of the side-tunnels to go "over" the non-playable wall area he got stuck on top of the wall and I was locked out of all my controls (abilities were blanked out). After about 30 seconds he died (was the last specialist) and we were defeated.
What I would like: -More levels for weapon upgrades - I get bummed out that there's only one or two levels of some of the upgrades. I'd like to level up some of the more unusual weapon upgrades at least 5 times to create a unique play-strategy. -More money from boss fights. I thought it was a great touch that in the old boss fight, if you had forgotten to upgrade your weapon damage, you could earn enough money by killing his swarms to eventually upgrade your gun enough to kill the boss. The new boss that spawns dudes that spawns swarms was too long and boring without a good payoff. -A different character style for Salve, I don't like the way he looks. -More variety in the specialist basic attacks, they all look different (which is good) but they all seem to work the same (is bad), even with the cool new unique upgrades.
Stuff I like already: -The basic waves of enemies manage to be fun and challenging. -The difficulty levels are sensible and responsive. -The variety of leveling up options and upgrades. -The unique character of each specialist. -The ability to revive automatically.
Finally beat this in Easy with pro healer lol..
Sorry but i have to say ,u are destroying ur map... A lot of ppl rage quit because of lv 5 boss even in normal or easy..At least give us money and exp from boss fight.. If you want to make the map harder , make it harder in later stages, not in early stages..I saw 2 Aberration spawned in every stages from 1 > 5, how can we get money - exp if those Aberrations keep chasing and killing us ? If you gonna tell me to upgrade - % speed , - armor etc..Yea sure we can at least go through lv 1 > 4, then how can we fight against a 125 armor - 100k HP boss if the highest damage we can have around 140-160 damage ? More than that , those festerlings keep spawning continuously and we dont have enough mana to deal with them , healer doesnt have enough mana to keep his teammate alive.. Heroes are supposed to fight against infested creatures, not to run away from 2-3 Aberration in 1>4 stages and die in stage 5.. The first day you published your map, it was on top because it was really fun and everybody can play - enjoy and beat the game ( beginners can beat in Easy , pro can beat in Hard - Brutal - Savage , but atleast they can win ).. Dont mean anything offense, its my thought...I really like ur map..
First of all, I played this game for the first time yesterday, its its easily one of the best custom games Ive played so far.
I was wondering if it is at all possible to make it so when you flash heal with Salv, that you can simply press heal and then click on your teammate in the "party window" on the side, instead of having to find your teammate buried amongst the swarm. With or without health bars , it still can get difficult just to click on your teammate. Not sure if this is possible though.
1. As far as bugs go, Ive noticed that Dead-Eye seems to get glitched to where eventually he always has a neural parasite attached to him , even when hes not being controlled.
2. Also, blaze seems to disappear or get stuck sometimes, and I have to jet pack literally out of the ground somehow to get back.

Needs to bring back the exp/money from boss fights. Was getting swarmed continuously from the first boss.
King Propagator Bug is Fixed!! Sorry
FireBox123, I fixed that bug last night and republished it. I even confirmed that the bug was gone by playing several games following the publishing to make sure it's working. Please let me know if you are still having problems with the newest version.
IDK what is going on but there is some kinda bug where Jim Raynor cant shoot from the top level to the bottom... he keeps walking down to the lower level to shoot things. It works sometimes when their is a ramp but in most cases if just messes up and makes it so he is really an ineffective character.
For those of you playing on different servers you are playing on old versions. I haven't posted the new version yet, but will here shortly. FYI, the most current version is 2.13 I believe. All of those bugs are solved and much more content added. Keep looking for the new update
Hi, first i'd like to congratulate you for the great maps you make, not only this one, but also Insectipede (which in Europe is stuck in version 2.6, that always crashes after 3rd boss).
I downloaded and published version 1.31 on EU today, but the map got a few bugs, first bug is the host gets all the names (actually, everything) bugged to PARAMS/VALUE/(some_hex_number), but everyone else in the game seems to see names just fine. The second bug is one described earlier by MapCrafter, the licker's (i think thats the name of the mob) mind control stays if its cast while mob dies. We just had to quit a game because of that.
Well, gonna play a few more rounds and see if i can find some more bugs ;)

Update: for bug #1, its not the host, its the first player on the map. for bug #2, it happens way to often, very annoying :P

Bigger map with 2-4 player would be great :) 2-4 more heroes ? We have zeratul - tosh - nova as special heroes with diferrent appearance than normal unit, and we also have those mercenaries with great appearance ( i love firebat ! ) You can make zeratul a real super tanker , tosh or nova as support hero and firebat as crazy damage dealer..It will be great :D Well, about a new patch, i've lost few times even in normal cuz in wave 12-13 or so, 4-6 Aberration with 20k HP spawned and raped all of us :( Im crazy about ur map, play it everyday and cant stop playing..
Hi Etravex, I've been playing your game for a couple of weeks now and I just wanna say that I really really enjoy it. it is fantastic, but i still see it has much room for improvement. Here are my two-cents. It's kind of long, but I hope you'll read through all of it<sub>, =) ...</sub>
When the game first came out, it was sort of a competition with your teammates to get kills so you could earn money and get upgrades. As a result, you would upgrade all your attacking skills and run around the map to get as many kills as possible. The game was dynamic in this way because you would run across the map and kill as fast as you could, competing with your teammates. Each player was almost entirely independent of the other players and, in fact, the players were fighting with each other for kills.
It seems you are going another direction by making players collaborate with each other. I like that you are enforcing a teamwork aspect by making each character class weaker offensively and instead opting to enhance their individual abilities. Sharing exp and money also encouraged team work instead of competing with team members. Strengthening the teamwork aspect of the game was definitely a great addition.
I've found, however, that this also encourages the players sit on a ledge for pretty much the whole game pumping out the same two or three abilities. Right now what i see is that the players know their role and sit tight in a corner, trying not to be overrun. While the team work aspect is a great addition, I feel much of the old, dynamic, and fast-paced action around the map has been lost in favor of a turtling defense game. I feel that the game could be suffering because of the turtling.
Why not add a few missions to complete certain rounds? Or perhaps different types of bosses that force the players to move around the map and use different strategies to defeat each type of boss? Just a few things I can think of: a flying boss that doesn't directly attack but summons flyers that explode and stun on impact. It could do poison damage or something and summon some minions that do damage as well. You could put this boss on round 5 or something in between the bigger bosses.
You could enhance the missions by, for example, making the players break targets at specified locations around the map before continuing to the next round. Or perhaps protecting an object for a certain amount of time.
I dunno, these are just a few things that come to mind. I think this game has crazzyyy potential and I'd really like to see some different ideas make the game more dynamic than it already is. Just my two-cents! Cheers.
you might wanna try a remove all Units trigger to stop this bug, by selecting the exclusion flags to everything except dead and unit and ground, using this trigger every 5 seconds could prevent the bug mentioned below.
Version 1.31b was uploaded onto SEA server today and I was thrilled to get a game going, the map has taken off. Unfortunately first time playing we found a bug involving the mind control bug, it died the second it mind controlled me and I was completely stuck in mind control. We tried letting me get incapacitated and then reviving but to no avail.

The bug where the game won't end when all four people are incapacitated. I messaged you in game yesterday about it, it's coming to the point where you're just able to grief people who are actually playing the game at some other point in the map, to where you can get them killed over and over again. Don't really want to post how it happens here because obviously people would abuse it.
