Impossible Scenario (F)
Idea taken from the old Starcraft game. You have very limited unit and try to kill huge army by using every advantage possible. Evvery Scenario you clear will give you ressources for the IMPOSSIBLE SCENARIO at the end. Be sure to clear most of them or it really will be impossible. Good luck!

Just wanted to let you know I was absent for the last 48 hours on a school trip. I heard you comment and will be working on them very soon thanks for the support.
One main thing i gotta say is I will revert the solo to all reed unit as it seems to bug many people.
Soullesbeing: i'll definetly find the bug in scenario 7 and look at all what you pointed out but right now im just too tired. Thanks though i really appreciate what you did and I hope you will continue to enjoy the game :).
mononaut: thanks for posting and i will revert to the old version for unit control :P. That being said, i do not think of payne as a jerk even if he does have a high self-estim.

bjodasso:the scenario are possible but very difficult... maybe you should wait for multiplayer to be available to get some trick from other player. In any ways, I hope you will play my game again!
payne: Am happy you let me take on of your idea and am glad you try to help me even more by giving ideas. Thanks. As the map project, it would be nice to work with you and onekrana but I do have to say that im not a person who work at specific hours and sometimes i work a lot and others time I rarely continue my maps. That being said, I don't know if am correct but i think I remember a tread where you said you were french and I also am which could be a positive point. Waiting to hear more from ya.
PS: Ya I know it was not necessary for me to respond to everyone but hey, if it can push someoone to come post again on my map i'd be happy XD
Hi hello. Just finished the beta 2.
Played it some times and once more it is 3 AM and I was still playing it.
Things I wanted to say about the map.
First of all it was fun playing it. Bonus maps are a nice factor.
Now some things i noticed:
>>> Scenario 7 Merging of high templars does not work. Is that right or is it a bug?
- main scenario didn't get extra minerals for destroying terrans and zerg
- minerals & gas aren't displayed correctly. I've built battle cruisers not having any gas and so on.
- some kind of save/load option would be a godsend
- option that detects that your the only player is nice but creates some problems. It would be better if all those units would be transfered to one player like red and not giving you the option to only control them.
Why?
Well units from different colors cant be quickly selected by ctrl + click or double click also an orange unit can't embark into a red dropship and so on.
Granted it makes those scenarios more chalenging but don't know if its worth it.
- Scenario 7 still bugged. Cleaned up all with use of controling units by neural parasite, nothing left and still no end.
Don't know whats the problem, checked those triggers but they are the same as for all rest of those maps so don't know why they dont work.
Attacking controlled units works partially. Controlled unit gets to be attacked by units in near vicinity after they are controlled after that they can move around and attack whatever they want.
Keep up the great work.
This map was much better a few versions ago where playing solo, all units would be converted to your side. Things like double-click to select all don't work when they're divided up into teams.
This is an awesome map, I've been keeping my eye on it, and please keep doing what you're doing despite payne being a jerk about it.
awesome scenarios - they make u be super concentrated while playing them... they are hard but they are all possible
Great scenarios, had a blast playing most of them.
I did run into one major problem though. Anytime there's a medivac or nydus network my units or other units Im given cant enter them.
All the scenarios are nearly impossible, I tried the first one 4 times and still couldn't pass it.
BETA-2 is out with 2 bonus scenario! more will be coming soon i hope!
Payne: I do find honorable your passion for impossible maps but i think you take all of this a little too seriously. Personally, i've never played your map yet I played plenty of ''Noob Impossible map'' as you say. I do not plan to make real impossible map and some unit might be useless. Maybe some of my map rely on micro too but I do not think it is a problem either. What I do plan to make though is a fun map that the community love. In this way, I personally believe that these ''Noob map'' are much more entertaining(As a fact, they kept being made on SC battle net). That said, if you do make an impossible adaptation in SC2, i'd play it with pleasure as I am sure it will be great. I'll end by saying that I appreciate the time you have taken to write these multiple comment but I believe we do not think the same way when making an impossible map . That said, I'd love to take your nydus canal idea if you permit me to do so... As a fact it is in BETA-2. If you disagree with my initiative i'll remove it.
This map is now taking it's first steps in the BETA phase as the final scenario is in game. Still need many balancse so please comment on all the scenario. Feedback and new ideas are welcome.
New: -Auto detect that you are alone in-game -Final scenario made -Change some trigger so there is even less lag in-game -Fixed bug in most scenario (please tell me if you found more)
Wow best comment ever! As i said to payne I do plan to try to make the game look better but only after i finished the scenario completely.
As for the hostile marine in menu map, it will be fixed in BETA-1 so do not worry too much about it ^^
About scenario 1 and 2...first grats for completing them with the a sole reaper and only a marauder and a marine pretty impressive :) But i don't think i should make them harder as they are ''Very Easy''
At first, scenario 4 was a bit harder and I decided to make it a bit easier but I guess it was a wrong choice if the immortal can solo it. Will work on that one thanks for comment.
About scenario 7, i made a trigger (will be out in BETA-1 again) to make AI attack the controlled unit...will work on the win/lose of this scenario and should be fixed in beta-1 too.
Finally, the last scenario is not made in the current version butt will be in the next...and i am llooking forward to your critics of them as youre a big help thanks :)

Hi hello and big congratz to franck17 for making this map.
First of all it was and still is big fun to play this custom map.
I don't care much for graphics as long as I have a good time and your map didn't allow me to go to sleep till 4 AM!
It looks good, additional doodas could improve the overall appearance but its not a must.
Frankly I must confess I didn't read the description so I managed to complete some of the maps with only using those few units like the lone reaper in scenario 2 and 1 marine & marauder in scenario 1, There was some freaky micro there.
I really was thinking that I'm supposed to only use those few units xD
Menu for choosing scenarios is professional in my opinion.
Some critics:
>>> why do you have those hostile marines in the menu map? Are they necessary so that the game sees a second player? If so why are there 3 of them. I know its a pretty dumb question but still ;]
>>> a big sign at the start of the map "type -solo to use all those units" would be helpful, you can't imagine how frustrating it is to kill of almost all units in scenario 1 with only 1 marine & marauder and die to the last ling ;] and still see the term 'very easy' for that map :P

Somebody already said about the ai not attacking controled units. Well I cleaned up the map without controling units and still no end. I even cleaned up tumors with splash damage from tank. Theres still some kind of unit of something blocking the end.
Tell me do you need to kill off those tumors also to end this map?

That is a real comment and I am happy you responded seriously. I have to say I agree with you about the aesthetic as I primarily concentrated on the difficulty of the scenario and I planned to work on the beauty of the map later on.(Hoping it will look good XD)
However, I have to disagree with you on the fact that these level are linear which is, by your point of view, bad. Impossible Scenario are a game where you must use strategies in a very specific situation, which is where i believe that it is good for the scenario to be linear. Of course, it does not remove the possibilities to make them non-linear (which is actually how the last scenario is designed).
Unfortunately, I haven't played your SC2 map yet as I do not have much time with school and the making of my map but I will check in the future. As for the Impossible Adaptation map you made in SC1, once again, I haven't play it but I might check it for some ideas?
Yea I cleared nearly all the maps after doing the one before the last though it bugged so there was a zergling on the the lvl select and I had stimmed my marine all the way before that so my marine got killed and I didn't get to go to last lvl :P other than that it was a nice map.
Your right about the infested unit it kind of suck... Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this by any ways? :P Thanks for the comment sab and will check the trigger which should end the mission.
Stuck on the third to last mission.
I used the infestor to get the units on the side platforms, then proceeded to use those units to defeat the base. The AI does not attack the infested unit, so it makes it quite easy. After killing everything on the map, the game does not go to the next mission.
Great map otherwise!
ghsi i did -solo because i was not confident enough with trigger to make the game realise it by itself but your comment push me to do it the right way :P

Instead of typeing.. -solo for solo just make it so it sets certain units depending on how many players there are.. O_o.. i tried playing with one of my friends.. was fail :)
