Hero Line War - WoL Edition
Hero Line War is directly coming from war3 mod, it works the same way :
- Select a Hero (actually there is only 2 :) )
- Defend the flag from ennemy units (send by the other team)
- Send troups from your hive to the ennemy team
- Sending troups to ennemy will up your income
- You will receive your income each 40 sec ~
- Upgrade your nexus to send stronger units (2 upgrade) (not implented yet)
- Use your hive abilities (Vortex - big psi tempest) to defend your flag
- Buy stuff at shop (don't forget to use them if it's a buff (like agility tome))
- The more you send the same unit the more time it will need to reload
- Buy attributs
- Have fun
The map is designed for 4 players but due to some problems I could only test it with 2 players. It's in alpha test, I'm working really hard to get a good balance betwen units and heros so don't forget to send me your callback :)

- numbers of players automatically detected ! you can now play alone 1v1 2v1 2v2
- added spells to hero
- buy of attributs now will cost also a small fraction of your income
- localization done !
This probably isn't the place to post this. However, I really want to see some of the old favorites from War3. Such as Custom Hero Arena, Custom Hero Line Wars, and some of the other memorable maps and gametypes from back then. Thank you for making this map, but I don't understand why it's not plastered all over the custom game list in SC2. Maybe I can start a new trend.

Theres a problem with agi. I like was maxing it out and all the changed was he go rediculasly fast (movement) but then he came to a unit and just stood there. Sometimes he'll kill it but thne just stand there staring at them lol. just fyi
Hi, I was following a tuto to do localization but it seems that this didn't work (as I have only 1 client I didn't know if it works since I didn't get return). I'll redo it.

You sure localization is done? I still see everything in Parameter/tool/unitname... for everything, including the items at the Cyber Core. Breakdown of each stats purpose would also be nice... Agil affects Speed of attack/movement? Str +dmg bonus... STM shields/health? Int energy?
This was one of my favorite game modes from wc3, and I was actually considering making my own version. Now that you're doing such a good job with this, I'll find something else to do, but I will make one suggestion/question: Have you considered making a custom hero line wars? Considering that Starcraft doesn't have a built-in hero system, it seems to me that just making custom skills for the heroes to have, and not making all the specific heroes would be more appropriate. This way, it might actually be easier to make the map(as strange as that may seem), and I personally think its a lot more fun to create your own heroes in-game.

Hi, the easiest way to play with is to use sc2 custom map patcher (you will find the link on sc2 mapster :) http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/sc2-custom-map-patcher/files/2-sc2-custom-map-patcher-2-1/ ).
And that's right the units you create in your hatchery don't cost pylon :))
I'll up a new version soon with less bug and more units :)

I love hlw from war3 thanks that you made this map first.
So my first question: maybe its really wrong here but i dont know were i can ask for that. How can i play a fun map with my friends? i only can play this maps alone that really sucks :D
And my second question: Is it right that the zerglings dont cost pylons?
Thanks for your comments, first yep the rally point is an issue, I'll disable it and ajust the trigger:). To try map in solo you have to add a hero for player 1 in base 2 (but for sure if you die you won't be able to rez on the right place :p).
Now pre-game loading : +1 it sucks :D, I'll change it.
Good idea for income I will do that The prices at shop are hi because buff gives a great increase at stats, but I'll add more items with lower price,
You can access either the team 1 shop or the other (you are ally with the neutral player with spare control) so that's why you can have acces to the other team shop, I'll fix it.

Tried it solo. so not really able to play it. But i did notice that if you set your hatchery to a rally point other then the default you can avoid the trigger and use the units to attack other hatcheries.

pre-game loading screen 1/10 made me lol(doesnt even count just wanted to point it out :) Hero 10/10 Zealot looks cool seems it activates as an hero :) Multiplayer probably okie unless u didnt figure our revive Design - 10/10 Units to buy - many 10/10
things u should add No timer for income or no alert(messege when you get income) Shop prices are very high....shop was on the other side for my hero only 2v2? other then that
