Hand of Humanity (Campaign project)
This project will be merged to Resource Curse project.
Hand of Humanity contains Terran campaign with 28 missions and Zerg campaign with 17 missions.
Hand of Humanity mod changes Starcraft II core mechanics and offers huge amount of customized, buildable units for Terran and Zerg.
Games that have inspired me as mapmaker are Warcraft II (1995) and Command & Conquer: Red Alert (1996). My ambitious goal is to create long campaign that combines best elements of 1990s singleplayer RTS games.
How to play?
Singleplayer campaigns require some file management to make it work properly. You have to extract a zip file, find and create folders.
1. Download Hand_of_Humanity.zip. You find it from "Files" section at top part of this page.
2. Extract .zip file and place files like this:
Startcraft II\Maps\Hand of Humanity\Launcher Zerg.SC2Map
Starcraft II\Mods\HandOfHumanityMOD.SC2Mod
3. Open "Launcher Terran" or "Launcher Zerg" map in Starcraft2 editor and press "Test document" button.
Nice done (:
Good suggestions, thanks. I just uploaded new improved version.
Nice map, Good Work, i gonna follow the project and the Storyline, but you need to giv a name on the informater, becouse i were like "Wth?" when the transmission came, giv a name on the informater and use the Rock tile under the Minerals, to giv them a more real look (: Otherwise Nice campaign :P
hey i was playing your map and realized that u can make two supply depots and make initially hidden because i had a problem in training SCVs i had to build 2 depots to build 4 SCVs only.
almost forgot you have to choose a texture for the enemy and one for Hand of Humanity
Thanks for feedback kimoss90. Map difficulty is always hard thing to decide while others think its too easy and others think that its too hard. I just published first release version. Now loading screen has actual story elements. I know that giving just 2 SCVs might feel annoying but I made this decission because I wanted to highlight this way how low resources Hand of Humanity have to start with.
your map is good but just you have to add 2 scvs but that is not important and the Liberty tech tree trigger have some actions that are not workin because u must make lvl 2 tech thats a bug i think.
well the attacking waves are normal but the defending forces is a bit too easy, very easy i finished all the blue bases and the 3 CCs with only 2 resource CCs and 1 force that force was the first attack, it was 4 marauders 6 medics 16 marine 4 firebats 4 warpigs 2 devil dogs and 2 hammer securities without the hero then i supported my forces with 16 marines when 1 cc left these forces were the first ones only takes log time of course but too easy
