Hand of Humanity (Campaign project)
This project will be merged to Resource Curse project.
Hand of Humanity contains Terran campaign with 28 missions and Zerg campaign with 17 missions.
Hand of Humanity mod changes Starcraft II core mechanics and offers huge amount of customized, buildable units for Terran and Zerg.
Games that have inspired me as mapmaker are Warcraft II (1995) and Command & Conquer: Red Alert (1996). My ambitious goal is to create long campaign that combines best elements of 1990s singleplayer RTS games.
How to play?
Singleplayer campaigns require some file management to make it work properly. You have to extract a zip file, find and create folders.
1. Download Hand_of_Humanity.zip. You find it from "Files" section at top part of this page.
2. Extract .zip file and place files like this:
Startcraft II\Maps\Hand of Humanity\Launcher Zerg.SC2Map
Starcraft II\Mods\HandOfHumanityMOD.SC2Mod
3. Open "Launcher Terran" or "Launcher Zerg" map in Starcraft2 editor and press "Test document" button.

I did a major change on this project. I removed custom hero units Max Järvinen and Pyro from campaign. I fixed missions 1 and 2 and I will redesign mission3. I don't know enough about data editing yet so after careful thinking I decided that I don't want to use custom units. Story of this campaign still remains same because Max was basicly boosted Marine and had not any personal meaning on campaign - he was only "face" for Hand of Humanity. This decission helps me to concentrate more on level designing instead of wasting time on too much data editing. I will keep mission3 same as much as possible.

Hello. I haven't been active with this project but I just wanted to tell that I haven't abandoned this project. I'm fixing missions 2 and 3 at the moment. After fixing these I start to do 4th mission =)
Good Mission, it hold me up on 250 APM almost all the time, soo really much energy is going to win it. Gratz (:
Third mission added. Play it and post comments, please. I release 3rd mission with "poor" terrain now but I'm going to improve terrain of all three missions soon!
good 2 missions. In the first mission, you might want to hide a few minerals, to make the first minutes of the game more interesting. But apart from that good job.

I played both missions you uploaded here and am really looking forward to the next one! my only piece of constructive criticism would be the grammar. I noticed throughout a lot of the text there was some poor grammar and some things that were spelled wrong. This is the best custom campaign mission i've played in SC2, and would really like to see it improve and expand, If i can help you at all with some of the dialog please let me know. To recap, great work so far!
Thanks for comments. I tested triggers many times before posting mission2 so I'm wondering why kimoss90 faced trigger problems. Anyway its always good to post comments so I know what I need to fix.
And yes Redknox1994 my terraining is very simple. To be honest there are only 2 type of textures on map. I'm trying to improve terraining :)
wtf? i captured all trucks and no victory shit!! i tried to look for the bug on galaxy editor found strange thing firstly the (0/12) objective dont add and there is on truck captured trigger event = unknown function second .......ah cant really explain because i dont understand it but i think that all the variables are fucking non-workin shit
Thanks for the comment on my project, and I did indeed play your first map quite some time ago (didnt see the second was released will try it out afterwards). Singleplayer is indeed win, but I just though your maps was a bit easy - that beeing said easy = normal difficulty . Lacked a bit of details to the terrain, but those critics aside I would deff play any of the maps you post.
Good objectives and good gameplay - not to difficult, but hey wouldnt play singleplayer to be challenged all the time!:D
Regarding the post you made in my project then yeah the levels are a bit hard, and I guess it is really hard when you havent played the maps before - I guess I should ease them up a bit. ^^

That's a really fun mission, loved the wait to get the power up again :D But you need to play with the terrain, use the terrain panal(it does not bite :D).
I just uploaded second mission of campaign. After you have played please leave some comments so I can improve my maps. This project is campaign so remember to specify what upgrades you suggest for which mission. Thank you.
