- Primarily designed for large-scale 2v2 or 3v3 battles
- F.F.A. suitable
- High-Yield and Dual-Expansion located in the center valley, dividing the two teams
- Numerous cliffs, overlooks and terrain height-advantage in order to solidify your defence, but beware of aerial drops or sneaky maneuvers!
My first map is Hallowed Arboretum. Made way-back-when Wings of Liberty was first released, this is my first Starcraft 2 map and has been sitting on my hard drive unused for all these years. With an emphasis on larger scale battles and a large amount of terrain to maneuver over whilst fighting through crumbling, derelict alien ruins.
The center valley holds Rich minerals and a coveted dual-expansion, blocked by rocks. Key chokepoints are overlooked by Xel Naga towers, shielded from passing enemy units by LoS Shrouds. It is your choice whether to hunker down and be defensive, securing your position - or utilize a more mobile force to take advantage of the numerous cliffs with Cliff-Jump units or air power, especially flying around the edge of the map over the dark, deep, perilous water.
