The Leviathan Brood developed a new type of weapon that changed warfare agianst the Swarm forever. In late 2513, the Zerg discovered an aquatic species with powerful bioelectrical organs in the depths of the Tarsonian Oceans. Abathur was not satisfied with the possibility of a weapon as devastating as an Archon however, and wanted it to also be able to negate the techology that both the Protoss and especially the Terrans rely on to oppose the Swarm. This is why in addition to improved, electrically charged and therefore shield-depleting plasma, the Electromagnetic Ravagers can also discharge their organs into a blast of electric energy, which has a similar effect to the Pulse Projectiles utilized by Terran Ghosts. Later mutations are reported to also have secondary electrical organs which channel an outburst of similar magnitude into a single vehicle and/or ship, which disables its electronical systems temporarily.

This is pretty much a Ravager with bonus damage against Shields with both the normal attack and the Corrosive Bile. It also has EMP Projectile and Lockdown to make it even better :)
