After their embarassing and crushing defeat during the invasion by the Dominion in 2504, the Umojan Protectorate analyzed their strategy and quickly realized that their anti-air defenses were not only outdated, but also ineffective aginst fast-moving targets. Therefore, Umojan engineers have worked years on a new generation of defensive anti-air emplacements. Not only does this new missile turret's advanced integrated targeting AI make manned turrets a thing of the past, it also comes with a slim and yet durable hull. It can now both withstand the recoil of the latest model of missile launcher and rotate at a faster speed than any varient of their Dominion counterpart ever could.
