Demo of version1.1 with new hero - Grand the Champion
STORY
Game story based on anicent Chinese myth.
In the begin of the universe, Pananon the Creator separate sky and earth with his axe. After the explosion galaxy and stars formed in chaos.
The ORDER force are persented by Fu Hsi and his sister Nuwa.
The CHAOS force are presented by Ketu and Rahu, the siamese twins.
After thousand years, Nuwa considered the land is so lifeless, with her brother Fu Hsi together, invited Ketu and Rahu to create the world. Life, time and space. With effort of both sides of the creators, humans, animals, demons and many acient Arceuses were created. The land is fulfilled with life and lively creatures.
However, Nuwa was not satisfied with Ketu and Rahu. She allied with her brother once again, and give a deadly strike the Ketu, Rahu and their Chaos creations. The war last for a very long period, so many life had fallen and so many great warriors raise and fade.
After a century of war, the Chaos suffered more than 3 billion lifes, and the remains retreated to the realm of chaos.
This is not over yet. The Chaos promised to revenge, they promised to the Creator, that treason of Order must paid for what they had done.
The seed of hatred planted, and we... offsprings of Chaos seek for revenge...
Gameplay and Feature
- Very traditional of Hero Defense that transfered from Warcraft3
- Defend the Sealing Juggeraunt from enemies
- Traditional Chinese myth style, martial arts and zen style universe
- Supposed to support 3 players (Never tested online)
- Side quests, dungeons and loots
- 3 Heroes with working attributes and skills
- 15 waves of enemy included BOSS battles
- Difficulty selection
- Inventory, equipment, shops
- Tomes of attributes
Well I decided to play this map again, single player. I killed everything and all the bosses until wave 15, then I got owned by the Abyss, but I still don't know about a couple of things: -The Promotion Officer at the top left of the map. Don't know how to get close to him. -The Job Change beacon and the three enemies called Fire Seeker, Landfish, and Frost Lich. My character can't reach them because of some foilage and trees.
Other than that, it looks okay.
hmm... well, since so many people asking me about the secert hero issue
I decided next version for sc2mapster I gonna cut that code-input-for-hero-activation things off
But in the meanwhile please input the code at beginning for select zealot hero =)
In new version i can't pick up zealot =\
I may just be doing it wrong, but when I drop the item to attempt to destroy it, it told me that I couldn't attack that unit (I forgot if it was invincible or if it instead was considered air. In any case, I was using the Zealot hero.)
Also thank you for putting out the BGM :D it's so good :O

Thanks for your feedback. I will release the bgm file (in mp3 format but a better quaility) in the next release of this map which fix alot of bugs and done reworks
1) As I said before I wasn't got a chance to test it online, I was having problem to upload the map on my comp. But yesterday(in CST) I saw someone uploaded it to b.net for me, and I still don't got chance yet to have a go. But the issue you noticed, it's what am I working on right now.
2) Drop the item and destory it to sell. Ordinary method for item sales is not working, so I had to do this way for now.
3) I was planned as put inventory like action bar of WoW which stick to right side of the screen but that may block the screen so I made it to this way. But yes, it is very difficult to notice at first time. So I think I got to move it to command window at right down corner for a bigger button to open inventory

What is the song you used in the map? It's really good, I just wish I had an mp3 version of it
Also, going more on the other guy's report about "Game ending in defeat after 2nd time getting 1000x minerals"
Our game ended after the third time we got our mineral bonus AND we had finished the mini game.
Your game doesn't seem to have a sell system that works for the items.
Suggestion: Move the hero inventory box to a more accessible spot (also the ESCAPE keybind doesn't work.) No one noticed the inventory button until about 20 minutes into the game, give or take.

I knew the map would be fine with single player, but to multiple-game it's another case.
Your issue no.1 and 3., I will go investigate from now. This map was designed for 3 players, but 4th player shouldn't be problem like that.. I will fix it. I just got a key yesterday and I wasn't tested in multiple-game at all...
And no.2 the secert hero, please input the code sc2.duowan.com for select him.

Hi, I played this map a couple of times today, and it looks nice. I know the map is still in the making, but there are a couple of issues. Some have been said before, so I'll go over some new ones.
1)Third player can't select hero with his drone, fourth player doesn't have a drone. Third player can control the drone whose color matches the fourth player's color. Fourth player does control the marine on the side of the map named "Flydaggar the Author" and has ownership of the beacons. 2) There are supposed to be four players, but only three heroes. In addition, Grand the secret hero can't be selected, so now there are only two heroes. 3)After the first wave, the game always ends in defeat. It's after the second time we receive 1000X minerals from surviving. Everyone just loses, not sure why.
I like the spell effects you've got so far, they're pretty cool. I had problems though with the training ground (and healing area in an earlier versino) where I just couldn't figure out how to get out. Is it supposed to eject you after a certain time? You should probably add another teleport beacon to get out of there. Also, though you'll probably fix this in the future, the immortal units felt kind of glitchy due to their shooting with no sound.

Here are my replies
1) during Hero selection please input sc2.duowan.com to select Grand, he is a secert hero I used to do promotion in Chinese community, and I forgot to remove this password thing :P
2) It seems like a problem of editor itself. I will try to fix it on my last upgrade of this Chapter 1, if I can't so I will try to fix it by change unit.
3) Well, when the minigame started there should be a hint on screen and then the beacon show up. It worked fine here when I test myself and promote the Chinese version in China, but I will check it outl
4) Marked. It will be finished :)
5) That skill work like this : the skill must cast at mininum range 3, and must hit a tartget. The maxinum range is around 7 or 8.
6) Level 11 intended have no spawn, so player can take a break or explore the map
7) This issue is caused by Editor, some skills cast can only target on units, not area. I'm trying to figure out how to fix this problem. Beta have so few model for skills to choose from, and so many trigger skills may cause problems like this
8) This issue is same as no.7. I'm still working on this.

2) I will consider about this ability. I was tried to make such ability, but with the model of recall from Mothership, effect was not good as I excepted. I'm looking for some way to solve the problem and make such skill. Thanks.

Alright, just played this. I got to wave 12 and lost. I found a few bugs so far in easy mode.
Bugs:
1) Unable to select Grand the Whiteknight (Zealot)
2) During Level 2, your first attack will alway miss. (Assuming takes 1 hit to kill, 2 is needed)
3) Mini game is bugged, it started and ended immediately
4) Fat Boy’s Quest's beacon disappears beginning of the game (Visual Bug)
5) Spell: Rush does not work in melee range (Intended?)
6) Wave 11 (level after Stalkers) is bugged does not spawn (Same in Training Ground), wave 12 was fine (Far as I got)
7) All of the AoE spells (Aura wave, etc) you have to select a target to cast it or else if you try to cast it without a target, it will consume mana and cooldown without casting.
8 Since I was unable to enter the mini game, I went to both spawn paths and cast fist of heaven and killed all the ghosts for gas without consuming mana and cooldown.
Suggestions: Just throwing ideas off my head, don't know if they are possible or reasonable.
1) Splash screen for picking difficulty for easy and hard mode. (Typing is annoying)
2) Instead of typing HG to return to town, why not have an universal "return" spell for all heroes with cooldown, mana or mineral cost.
3) Automatically converting 25000 minerals to gas is cool but what if I want to save minerals for something. Implement a NPC to convert 5000 mineral per 1 gas at a time, maybe?
4) Removed.
5) Add some sort of healing fountain/NPC or ability to upgrade potion to heal more with higher mineral costs because at later levels, healing 1000 hp doesn't help much.
6) Why not have a mini boss at each level. I don't know if it messes up your storyline.
7) Add minions/guards to every boss, make it interesting/harder.
8 Training ground is cool, suggestion to control its spawn and numbers? But if it is intended that way it's fine.
Feedback: It was a huge content update, and I appreciate the work you have done so far. Potion was a nice idea but see (Suggestion 5). New spells and their visual graphics are awesome. I liked the new quests, items and the ability with upgrade with gems to help early game! I don't know how to get past level 12 yet, I killed all the bosses in the map except Goliath and the final boss. I was using the best possible items from the bosses and tomes, wave 12 did way too much damage, I tried to kite didn't work well. It took me + 1 hour to get to wave 12 so yeah I'll give it another try another time, game is kinda long but fun! Thanks for updating! EDIT: How do I change jobs? The promotion NPC I don't know how to get there.

it's because the vid preview is from an upcoming version :) The secret hero is playable and has skills, provided you input the code provided in this overview at the start of the game :)

OK so let's see if I remember something :)
First out, it would be nice if there was some stat explanation system :) So that we can understand and decide what stat need more :) (but I guess str= ? damaga, int= ? mana, agi =???)
Also, the maximum skill stat gets stuck at 255 - if the actual stats go beyond 255 we can't see them - perhaps decrease the stats 10x with 255 being the absolute top :)
Ogre Ring you get from Big Boss' quest is bugged - my attack always gets slowed very much instead of speeding it up :(
I haven't got past the marauders' stage yet, they always mash my hero :( need to practice more haha :D Buying just rings & amulets so far because the dmg mitigation.. gotta have some armor too me thinks :p
Anyways, it's loads of fun, micro intensive, the secret hero's special abilities are pretty good! I can't wait for next release!

Thanks for all your feedbacks, and I'm dealing with all bugs in this version and the version I'm working on. The vedio in demo is the next version for release, and the hero is a brand new guy.
I'm trying to add difficulty selection and purchase repair items or etc to reduce difficulty and easy for everyone to experience the game.
The item property is still balancing, and some weapon you found in dungeon may upgrade with gem you earned from side quests. About the make 2 set of gears, hey, I say that's an awesome idea, I will try to make it into the game! Thanks to azngamer64!!
to Snowdy2010: as keveinbuttlove says, please try the secert hero with the code, that's the only hero have abilities in current version.
to kevinbuttlove: someone metioned the same thing, and I'm considering of adding a repair/protect unit or item or spell to help you guard the tower when you are heading to dungoens or quests.

Feedback: Alright so, I tried to use the secret hero today, and I got to the Stalker level, wave 9 or 10? I killed all the bosses with ease. Didn't attempt Blademaster yet and I actually lost because I was too busy trying to get to the dungeon's boss, Blademaster and the sudden ambush destroyed the tower in seconds, had 25% HP left ;/ Hmm, missing a hotkey for the Cloaking spell and yeah near the end I had so much money and nothing to spend on really. Once you know when the ambushes are coming it's easy I guess, and that was the 1st time I got so far, it got me off guard. That's it for now, I'll try it again another day.
Edit: @azngamer64: I had no problems with the mini game, just spam your abilities after the ambush. I got all the bonus gas, killed all bosses except Blademaster (lost before I got to him) with gas left over. At later levels, I just attack, kite, cast all my spells, kite, regen hp to full, repeat. And I didn't know about the cloaking bug ;O
@snowdy2010: I think you have use the secret hero for now, the normal heroes don't have spells yet, you can't get fair with them I don't think at least for me.
why did not I get the 4 abilities as shown in the video? without those abilities, I die fast...
== Bugs ==
Secret Hero:
- Cloak's speed boost refreshes your current buff, and applies a stackable speed boost on top of your previous ones. Spamming cloak like 20 times literally makes the secret hero teleport.
- If you are in the training grounds, or miniboss levels, you can cast that force field thing at any range with 0 cooldown and 0 mana cost.
- The mothership ability cloaks your hero and allied buildings, not sure if its intended.
- As i was abusing the speed cloak bug, i lost the ability to move my hero entirely around the level with ravens. It was only Attack, Stop, and the 5 abilities.
Minigame
-Can't be accessed in the later levels, making it difficult to engage blademaster or other bosses without planning your gas.
Fun game! It's difficult to migate damage at later levels though, seems like you would have to swap out DPS gear for tanking gear between the waves and that the free time.
