Facility 17: A Terran RPG
The map is a turn-based RPG, reminiscent of FF7, based in the starcraft universe (did you know you aren'tt allowed to publish maps with the word "starcraft" in the description? crazy, eh?). Your party consists of 3 characters each with their own special abilities, upgrades, and limit breaks, and you fight through 10 unique battles, with intermittent cutscenes to advance the story.

its an awesome map and i really noticed the ff7 references as a true fan
however i thought it was pretty challenging in terms of how long the battles take i mean when the first marines came i thought it would be 2 normal attacks per marine .....i was wrong
scan is totally useless as gale i just snipe everyone i only use her to snipe
that zealot guy(forgot his name) that healing mana drain attack is maybe OP i only attack with him he heals himself and when mana is full void flames no need to heal him at all
watson he is a good medic/support dont change him
now boy all i want is that damn sequel i really enjoyed it
oh and add a faster button because sometimes (especially at the thor battle his attack animation is just really slow )
I just finish this on specialist. Pretty nice game only wish the game went for much longer. After the scan should have a click 'next' before disappearing and if it had the option to select a check point to load after you die it would b awesome.
Also I found a few bugs: - Thor fight, at the start of the fight the camera was in a bad angle and the Thor was not in the screen and hence un-click-able (I think it was resolved by hitting space but afterwards the arms were not target-able)
- After killing the heap of marines while Watson setting up the bomb the next fight will not trigger properly. (what happen was Gale got KO and then I killed the marines with Vaas, the battle menu is still up when the Ghost appears and Watson joins the fight. Still needed to click next battle menu still up and waiting for Watson's orders while Gale still KO and Vass hurt and not full SP then by issuing him an order the ghost will attack next and game as normal until you click that next button till end of dialog. After which the battle order will jump to Vaas)
- after the Ghost kills Gale in 1 shot by throwing her in the hole by some sort of the same bug. You can still give battle orders during dialog and by doing so the ghost wont die. And you still able to control Gale (with glitched animation) and the fight will go on endlessly.
NOTE: these bugs MIGHT have only occurred because of my latency. I played this map on NA server from Australia.
Very well, don't you want to upload file to allow players at other server to republish this great map and play it?
For example i am player from russian server. Of course we don't have your map and should only to envy players at your server. :)

I played your map. I have two words for you: great job! It was fantastic!
I thought the music was a great touch. And the characters and story were interesting enough to hook me. I'm interested in seeing how the rest of the story plays out.
From a "technical persepective", I'm impressed that you were able to make an RPG using Galaxy Editor. That couldn't have been easy. It was extremely impressive though!
I do have one suggestion. I think the "battle system" would be better if characters gained SP when they use regular attacks and when they are attacked by enemies. I found myself having to use the "Cover" command more often than I wanted just because I wanted to build up my SP meter.
Also, one of Vaas' "Khala" commands didn't work they way I thought it should. I was hoping that I could cast "Warp Time" once in one turn, then twice in the next turn, all on the same character, so that the character could issue 4 commands in his third turn. However, the battle system wouldn't let me do that, for some reason. It did something else, which I can't remember right now. It would be cool though. Very minor thing, I know.
Great job! Thanks for reminding me how great and simple rpgs were back in the day, and bringing some of that goodness to the Starcraft universe.

Oh! I tried it a bit today, but I had to quit since a friend want to play a league match. It looked awesome! It made me think of the excitement I felt when I was playing FF7. I'll try it again this week. Thanks for letting me know!

This was pretty awesome, I did notice a few of the bugs stated below as well. If it is possible to redo fight guess that would be a good option I didn't die but i'm assuming from the other comment you have to start all over if you do. Which kinda adds to the difficulty so might not be needed.

After seeing it on the first page of new maps on US and watching the intro, the first thing i thought was "A.V.A.L.A.N.C.H.E.". :)
It's great to see a fun tribute to such a memorable game.

As for copyrighted music, you might consider midi versions of some of the ff7 songs. I know that they exist (found them in the first google result http://ffmusic.ffshrine.org/ff7midis/ff7-midis.php), and I very much doubt that those would create a copyright problem. As for whether SC2 can directly support midi, I have no idea.
suggestions:
• If there's any way to make the 'NEXT' button a little less ugly, please do.
• option to redo fights after a defeat. I really don't want to go through 30 minutes again just because zephyr cast meteor on me twice in a row.
• Hotkeys for menu navigation and enemy selection.
• The floating guy that Zephyr drained was a little hard to target.
a few bugs:
• After the Thor fight, when it's just the zealot and gale, gale's selection cursor is a little off.
• After the battle, when the loot and levelup screens show, the battle menu is sometimes still displayed and usable.
• idk if this is a bug, but the Thor still tries to use its tactical nuke even when it hasn't been readied. It does not actually fire.
