Dune Strategic Game
Fight with your friends/ennemies on the only planet in the universe who have spice, Arrakis. Beware to the weather conditions, the meteor falls, the incoming worms and many other difficulties. You can select 1 the 3 legendary races: the Atreide house, the Harkonnen house or the Fremen tribe. Dune Strategic Game is a RTS with many possible scenarios, like king of the hill, capture the flag, protect the specified building, etc.

I'm at the very beginning of the game, even if I started this project in 2010...
I'm always open to suggestions or ideas, but primary my game is a mix of many popular RTS. When the game start, you will have 3 choices of differents scenarios and each of them have unique difficulties, like worm activity, seismic activity, different lighting depending on the coordinates, starting and harvestable amount of resources, etc.
To add more realism, I also added different type of primary objectives, like capture the flag or king of the hill, but you can always decide to destroy your ennemy like a normal team death match. When a scenario is choosen, the game will generate a random terrain with creep and cliffs (like a normal game with choke points) and you will have like 30 seconds to decide where you will spawn your base. Like the RTS Z, there will be sometimes empty vehicules that your infantry will be able to capture and drive.
I have redesigned the principe of structure, so any building will block vision and events like worms or meteor will affect the footprint of this builing, not its center point. Every unit in the game, including some kind of buildings, will have an effective inventory with items like upgradable armor, weapon, etc. and each unit will also have an experience bar that will work like heroes in Warcraft 3.
There will be 3 resources in Dune : metallide (like mineral), spice (like vespene) and water (a time of day dependent resource). Water will be the most valuable resource because you will need it to every living unit, technologies and some kind of buildings. As the wind traps only works during night, you can imagine that, in the always-sunny polar summer, this resource should be very well spended.

Yes, hope to see more soul added to your upcoming projects cause lastest ones trys to add some visual feels to the orginal game for remake.
I don't care about other remakes of Dune II, there is one at least on EU, and it's soulless and noobly made
my remake will be the most visually and soundically precise remake of Dune II even if there will be 10 of other remakes
Since Zolden, The Remaker is really wants to start such project!
comeone, post a couple of screens at least, what's the point to make a project with only a little paragraph of text
