Nerazim clans & Organizations:
Nerazim faction is composed of various clans. This page is partly canon lore and partly my own addition, but I try to keep it plausible and close to the real lore.
Lenassa clan:
Lenassa and Zer'atai are two biggest clans of the Nerazim and together they make up for a mojority of Nerazim population. Lenassa warriors are known for their mastery of void powers and stealth. They are usually dressed in various cloths and only use few pieces of armor, mostly as decorations. Their weapon of choice is a single, gauntlet mounted warp blade, however there are some who use them on both arms.
Zer'atai clan:
The name of their clan means "Zerg Hunters" and it is very fitting as most of them are battle-hardened veterans from the zerg invasion of Shakuras and they indeed are great hutnters. They are usually more armored than Lenassa warriors and decorate their armor with Zerg Bones, which serve both as trophies/decorations and extra protection. Their usual weapons are double sided Warp Scythes, also called Shadow Scythes, but the also use gauntlet versions of Warp Blades.
Nerazim army:
Main Nerazim army composed of members of various clans, with mass produced vehicles and structures in platinum & green colors that are known for example from Stalker portraits or Dark Templar models. My Nerazim faction units/skins are made in this theme.
Daelaam Nerazim, a.k.a. Twilight watch:
Nerazim who pledged their loyalty to the Daelaam and are clossely associated with their Templar brethren. They use Nerazim metals and technologies, but have them produced in Khalai/Templar starforges, resulting in platinum armor and blue energies on their units, very well known from their Stalkers, which now serve as core unit in Daelaam armies. They are also responsible for the invention of Void Ray ships. Some members of Twilight Watch are Templar who have recently joined the culture of the Nerazim, they wear armor in similar fashion to the Twilight Watch machines, with platinum metals and blue crystal, psi blades and pther parts. Also since they are former templar, their most common eye color is also blue. Cloaked wariors of this subfaction are called Twilight Watchers.
Shadow Guard:
Elite army, protectors of Shakuras and Matriarch's family. Legions of Centurions are the backbone of the Shadow Guard, but Dark Templar, Signifiers and Dark Archons are also within the ranks of Shadow Guard and they also possess their own versions of Nerazim structures, vehicles and machines. Armor of Shadow Guard forces is both practical and ceremonially designed, standing out among other Nerazim subfactions with their purple and copper color combination and attention to decorations, which was also seen in the whole city of Telematros. Most of the members originally come from Lenassa and Zera'tai clans and they honor both clans by decorating themselves with symbols of both clans together.
Boros clan:
The Boros are as mysterious as they are skilled. They were fearsome blank-faced helmets and dark gray heavy armor. While they are able to cloak, they rely on armor, weapons and technology in battle, instead of shadowy powers. In direct combat they are an unstoppable force. Unlike most smaller clans, they are also focused on research, production of machines and development of new technologies, such as Warp Disks, original concept of Soul Hunters or their powerful Immortal variant know as Indomitable. They use a wide variety of weapons.
The Alysaar:
The Alysaar ("Keepers of Wisdom") are a group of Nerazim who reside in the Alys'aril (Sanctuary of Wisdom) on the moon of Ehlna. They record and store the memories of Dark Templar in khaydarin crystals. Known for their strong discipline and unwillingness to change the way they do things, they spend much of their time moving memories from damaged or time-worn crystals to fresher ones. The alysaar are led by the protoss with the title Alysaar'vah, a term similar in meaning to "head librarian". Their numbers are very small and they have only few guards, the rest are scholars, but they are still psionically powerful, so they can defend themselves if needed.
The Sari'Jal:
The Sari'jal are a small clan of Nerazim, who seek to restore and maintain the balance and even the scales of justice throughout the galaxy. They follow the Shadow Path, which allows them to shew traditional morality to view themselves as forces of nature, and avatars of a concept known as "the Recknoning." They have little in the way of compassion toward the Khalai/Templar. One can gain membership into the clan by killing another member of the tribe, thus taking their place. This can be done for example by challenging the member to a ritual combat. They are known to have at least on Star Relic ship. Similarly to the Tal'darim, Terrazine is sacred to the Sari'jal. They use leather armor in addition to copper colored metallic parts and similarly to Lenassa do not use heavy armor and instead rely on their powers and they also mostly use single warp blade gauntlet, however they do not wear face covering shrouds like the Lenassa do. Unlike most Nerazim clans, the Sari'jal favor khaydarin crystals over argus crystals and put those in their armor. Most common eye color among their ranks is orange.
The Void Templar (Zeratul - Alternate reality):
Members of Zeratul's warband, who were affected by Xel'naga energies and turned into Void Templar and later created a community or a clan of their own. They are easily recognized by teal glows.
Fist of Ulrezaj:
Followers of Dark Archon (And former Dark Templar) Ulrezaj. They are anti-templar/khalai society. Later they were enchanced with Void Powers in a similar way to the Void Templar employed by Zeratul, however with purple void energies granted to them by the Void Walker.
