Game modes

Game modes are a setting which is voted upon game start by the players. The selection that has the most votes is selected to be the gamemode for the following game. Here is a brief summary of all of the gamemodes which have links to more in depth descriptions and statistics.

Skirmish

Skirmish is the default gamemode and will win ties automatically due to it having more standard gameplay mechanics. Skirmish allows all infantry and all assets including aircraft and has the complete tech tree available.

Conquest

Conquest provides more assets and more resources at that the start of the game and over the course of the game. While very similar to Skirmish, Conquest also has more resource points. This gamemode is better for full lobbies or players who are more familiar with the game as it accelerates very quickly.

Infantry

Infantry or Exclusive-Infantry is the gamemode without heavy armoured vehicles, or any aircraft. Infantry Credits however are greatly expanded and have much more units per deployment. A large quantity of technology is not available. This gamemode is generally easier to play as there are less stressful units such as CAS.

Insurgency

This mode depicts the NATO Coalition forces against terrorist factions. The Insurgents receive caches periodically and must defend them, if they lose a cache Blufor gains tickets. Blufor must not run out of tickets which are lost by its units or buildings being destroyed. Additionally Insurgent main is secluded in the far corner and is invulnerable. BLUFOR must destroy a number of caches without running out of tickets.

Advance and Secure

AAS revolves around Blufor and Opfor teams competing over the control of the capture points. Both teams have a limited number of tickets. The Capture Points grant a ticket advantage to the capturing team.

Operation Silent Eagle

German Special Forces play as Blufor and must capture 3 objective points before Opfor is able to eliminate them. Blufor receives occasional reinforcements as long as their objectives are held. Blufor does not receive a Command Post or OP HQ. Operation Silent Eagle features a small town, a short river, parachute spawn zones, and the PLA missile silo, air field.

The Hunters

In this mode, one team Blufor or Opfor, your team's role is announced at the game start. The Hunters must find and destroy all units and buildings owned by The Hunted excluding the OP HQ. The Hunted must either take down The Hunters before then, or manage to survive 1 hour. The Hunted receive incredibly limited assets, whereas The Hunters receive extensive selection as well as free assets. This gamemode typically revolves around a strong Hunted force patrolling through the map building occasional bases with the Hunters generally be picked off in the process.
