City of the Dead
City of the Dead is a concept that focuses on action, customization, diversity and teamplay.
The idea behind City of the Dead is that you create a character together with your teammates, and customize it as you play through a maze of enemies. Once the first map is complete, you then have the option to save that character and load it in a new map with a completely new setting, mission and more.
When you first create your character you are able to select certain abilities. As the game goes on, more abilities are made available - as is more equipment. City of the Dead begins as a labyrinth of hostile armies and bosses. You and your teammates will level up, gain equipment, recieve abilities and most likely die unless you're skilled enough to survive the vicious enemies of the dead city.
Once you have come through the maze, your hero will be saved. Now it is time to load that same character in the next map.
Where you chose to go after the first map will be up to you. Once the basic map is completed I will be creating a hero survival map. Something similar to the Resident Evil survival maps created in Sc1 and Wc3. I might also make a map where two sides battle eachother. Any suggestions are welcome :)
I will be uploading the first map of the series as soon as it is fully playable for four players.
Features:
- WASD movement. Certain abilities will target an area in front of the hero (determined by facing angle)
- Third person camera mode (optional, can be changed at any time during the game to regular camera)
- Custom UI that can be turned on/off ingame.
