[Co-op Mission] Prophecy of the Void
Prophecy of the Void
Prophecy of the Void will be a cooperative version of the Wings of Liberty campaign mission "Whispers of Doom", but with a completely different gameplay. With new units and customizable upgrades you have to find the Prophecy, which was divided into fragments, each kept at separate Shrines. This Map shall make you feel as if you are playing a real Campaign Mission made by Blizzard, but with 2 Players.

Heroes:
Zeratul: Zeratul's fighting style has been changed entirely. He is a revered Dark Templar mystic with a powerful melee attack which provides energy in combat. He can use 'Void Walk' and 'Void Spheres'.
- Phase Cloak (passive): Cloaks Zeratul as long as he has energy.
- Void Walk: Allows Zeratul to intercept nearby enemies and provides 50 energy.
- Void Spheres: Zeratul creates 2 clones of himself. Clones deal half damage, take double damage, and last 20 seconds.
Karass: Karass is a legendary wielder of psionic energies. He can use 'Psionic Storm' and 'Plasma Surge'. Also he is able to attack air and ground units.
- Psionic Storm: Creates a storm of psionic energy that lasts 4 seconds, causing up to 100 damage to all units in the target area.
- Plasma Surge: Instantly recharges 50 shield points and restores 100 shield points over 10 seconds for all friendly Protoss units in the target area.
Each Player will control one of those two Heroes.
Enemy
The Enemy will be the Zerg Swarm, divided into 3 Forces with different characteristics. Also, some special Zerg Units will appear to make it even harder to reach the Xel'Naga Shrines.

This UI looks great! Unfortunately I have not much experience regarding the default UI, but it would be a really nice gimmik to have that one as the Zeratul Player. And yes, I adjusted the last part of the Demo a bit to make it a bit more challenging.
@Oatin: Go
What do you think about adding that UI to the player that use Zeratul? http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/dark-protoss-ui/images/1-dark-protoss-ui/ U did the campaign more hard or i am wrong?Because on the last part of the demo (hard difficulty) there are more mutas than before :)

This is an interesting idea. Actually, I wanted to make sure Karras and Zeratul don't have so many abilities. In my opinion, adding Feedback to Karass would mean that Zeratul has to have a third ability, too. And this would make the heroes more difficult to use.
The Heroes in Prophecy of the Void could certainly need a better system, like an opportunity to customize them or mechanics that allow them to "evolve" more other than recieving Upgrades by the Protoss Players. I will think about your suggestion.
@Oatin: Go
In my honest opinion the hero karass is underpowered for the brutal mission,because he haven't feedback (very usefull for brutal),some thing for zeratul that haven't the "blink ability",what do you think about that?
@DEFILERRULEZ: Go
The 'Devastator' (that's his name in Prophecy of the Void) does not attack. Instead, it periodically spawns Mutalisk Eggs to defend himself. ;-) You could call this his attack ability.
Awesome map,very good also cinematics,i don't see particulars problems,only the swarmguardian that don't attack you also if he have 3 attack upgrade i don't exactly understand :D
I would love to help test this out, it seems like a really great idea and from the looks of it you've put in enough to make it challenging while adding fun events and upgrades to help the player, add more fun and strategy into it. The fact that your working so hard on not only gameplay but terrain and units makes it much more exciting.
So I would like to help test it if you wouldn't mind that is.
It's still in Beta State and therefore not public, but if you are on a Europe Server, I could host it for you and you could play it with a friend of yours. It has 2 Observer Slots.
look nice, and where i can download it?
