Builders and Fighters
Builders and Fighters is a remake of Builders and Fighters from Warcraft 3.
LATEST UPDATES: (v2.2)
- Added some resources to the middle of the map for fighters
- Fixed scan and mule for terran

- A supering system in which:
- You can send units into the super spot where they move to a UI
- You can summon super units costing any number of regular units
- You can send units to your fighter, who can then use them to attack/kill the opponent
- A very complex map with Xel'Nagas and small pockets of minerals/vespene for fighters to use

I decided to release this map as open source. The map is available for download. The only thing I ask is that you do not publish it publicly. If this map isn't in your region, please contact me. (this may change in the future)

The lighting on this map on high/ultra has ridiculous contrast. It hurts my eyes every time I play.
My friend who plays on low doesn't have the same issue.
Also, the pools of water in the center of the map look really funky on the sides... they clip into the ground.
There seems to be a bug with the fighters being able to take out the builders if they play as protoss or as a flying unit. Void rays can reach the vespene geysers and stalkers can blink into the area. This map is a great map, but also like the other person saying, being able to join the map as a party of 3 would be great. I get pretty sick of people leaving like every single game, but I know there's not much you can do about that as the creator lol. Thanks for the map.
I really enjoy this map however there are some quick fixes and suggestions. First of all the minerals at each base have 1 that is an enemy so you cant mine from it where as others have little mineral in them ex: 1500 Also, the Rich vespene geysers are a pain to mine so haveing 6 original geysers is better than 6 rich geysers. (i also wouldnt mind seeing all the minerals change to rich as well) Upgrades cant go past level 1. When you transport a CC to the fighter hes able to build scvs. (im not sure if this is working or not but do super units exist yet?) Also, ive noticed that fighters (granted it always slow in beginning) get tired of waiting forever for builders, possible to help builders out a little with starting resources? Victory conditions are also screwed up a little.
I appreciate your hard work and hope you keep bringing us the best games Pwootage, I just thought I'd get my ideas in the public. Good Luck!

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. It is a problem with Blizzards lobby, AFAIK. It happens on all (or at least most) maps, unfortunately.
For the three times that it happened to me it was because I cancelled a building, although for another person it happened when he alt tabbed out.
Also, I've been trying to make a 3-man team to start the game with, but somehow the lobby makes it nearly impossible for the three of us to be on the same team, dunno if you can fix it since it's something on battle.net To tell you what we have tried:
two of us joined in the first two positions, filled computers in so that he'd end up in the attack spot for the bottom team. And in the lobby he did, but once he was in the game, no matter what he'd end up as a builder for the other team.
Scratch that, it is this map, If anyone has any ideas why it is happening, please let me know!
That was unrelated to the game. Same thing happened to several people in several different games
I definitely love this map, but I was just playing and all the players suddenly experienced an sc2 crash, I'm afraid I wasn't paying enough attention to tell precisely what the circumstances were though.
God I love this map from SC1
