This map has been discontinued. It still works and is playable but I made a new TD map which I might release if I ever get around to finishing it.
Hey, this is a very nice map to start off with, but I'd just like to give some suggestions. I'm sure you already know about most of these, but just in case...
1. Text: There's floating text over the spawn area as well as the end. Additionally, there should be different terrain or something to that affect to signify where these areas are.
2. Towers: Also, it would be nice to see upgrades available for the towers and a more accurate or informative description for the towers. Also, the range shown when placing these towers are not correct.
3. Gold and Timer: Like Ingela said, having 5 gold for each unit won't give the best scaling, so a incremental system would probably allow for smoother scaling. And a bonus at the end of the round would give a little more relief at surviving each round and give players something to do while they wait for the next round. Finally, a timer would defiantly help players understand how long they have to build more towers before the next wave.
4. Looks: Just obviously removing the sharp edges and the floating, hard edged look would make the game a little easier on the eyes. Currently I felt the floating pathway look with the planetary background was a bit overwhelming.
Like I said though, this is still a great map and I hope this becomes very successful.

I am definitely considering changing the income pattern, in addition to adding more towers. However I am a bit at a loss atm, as I think I just managed to balance all the original waves. Changing the income pattern will screw up this balance, and so will adding more towers.
I might just decide to remake all the first 20 waves as well, to get a bit better structure. Not sure yet.
I loved it. I'd rather see you like half the cost of towers and then just double the health on units or so, building towers are fun.
I leaked once and was at 20 gold on the end of every run. Some end-of-the-round bonus would be nice, and in general a little bit less static kinda. Now you get 5 gold on every mob and no end bonus. So you'll just sit there with kinda few choices. Maybe have first round give you 1 gold and then after 5 waves, you get 2 gold kind of thing.
Just smaller steps and a little bit more choices on your own, that would rock!
(All these are probably things you considered yourself, I'm just trying to be helpful here!)
Edit: Oh another thing I forgot, I'm a huge fan start of easy -hard in the end. Easy to learn, hard to master thing.
very nice spiral TD cant wait to see some updates its far frm done bu tthe base is very well done. I just beat it and imo marines ftw :P
