A remake of the Angel Arena wc3 custom map. 2 Teams of 6 fight to strengthen their hero's & win duels to win.

Good to know, I'm a huge fan of AA and I think this map has a lot of potential.
Yeah noticed that a short while ago, fixed it for the next version which i'll upload later, will add extra 3 heroes too. Made it look a bit cooler when you evolve too :D

Tried the map several times with the different heroes, everytime I get to the third evolution with Zerg it wont attack anymore. The attack option is there but nothing happens.
With the extra item space you can get on here i'm really tempted to make abilities non-specific for heroes and have an 'ability inventory' for the hero's, any thoughts on that idea?
Or perhaps semi-custom so you have a few class-specific and then one or 2 'item' abilities
I'll try and make it a pretty even balance if I can between items & stats.
There's an inventory button on the low right, it has a warcraft 3 icon so should be pretty easy to spot :P if you open that it's just like wc3 to pick up/drop/sell items.
Will get around to doing some of this stuff but i'm away from my main pc till monday :P
If anyone has idea's for hero's btw they're welcome as I want to get in 4/5 evolves for each & only really possiblities for zerg, protoss & terran, maybe non-flying and flying to get 6 without going to cusom models :P
Well if this map is going to be anything like the Warcraft 3 Angel Arena maps, it will be about Item creation and Tomes with stat bonuses. The way items seem to be working isn't very pleasing since I can't figure out how to unequip an item... Then again, he's only JUST now started so who knows what this will be like when he's finished.
Smoothsmith, do you plan on making this map item based or Stat based or both?
I don't know if I agree about the zerg being stronger, seems to me that the ghost moves faster than the roach and has longer range so kiting seems like it would be really easy. I actually believe that with proper micro the ghost is infinitely stronger at this point.
Respawn is a very good idea could have done that first if i'd thought of it -_-.
Yeah I was trying to get more well..stuff in their before balancing, partly as can't really do multiplayer yet & have no abilities yet :P Although yeah might make it so they're a bit more mortal ^^
I like what you have so far. You should put a respawn trigger in for if you die. I intentionally died to see if it would respawn me and well it didn't. Although you might want to do that after you're done making all of the heroes.
Another thing I noticed was that the zerg hero is vastly more powerful than the terran hero because both his shield AND his health regent very rapidly. In one instance I was being attacked by lvl 2 creep and not taking any damage because my regen was so high.
