There's been some pretty good information about 1.5 from the Blizzard Developers on this Battle.net thread. If you don't feel like piecing through it yourself, no worries, we'll have the information archived here on Mapster in the very near future.
Mobile Tower Defense by DrakenStark
Mobile Tower Defense seems to be your run of the mill tower defense map at first glance, but you'll come to find out that isn't the case. As you can see at the beginning of the video, this map shows off a pretty unique dynamic laning system, where the lane increases size as you complete waves, as well as taking different pathing shapes.
The area may increase at some point and then max out in size. The first bit is just a simple area for introduction. This is still alpha and I've not even finished the pathing for the entire map. I've been puzzled a bit on what makes for interesting terrain.
The current plan for multiple path is requiring the player to watch more than one lane. Any enemies missed in one lane will come from behind in the other!
I think the idea has alot of potential. Good job so far. I'd say it's worth finishing.
