Forum Restructure
Mapster is growing and the forums were too compact for all the activity. We decided to expand our forums to give you more space to talk :)
- Project Workplace - Fusion of Project Brainstorming and Project Show Off because the distinction was really small.
- Galaxy Scripting and Trigger Libraries - We want to promote advanced use of the editor.
- Team Recruitment - Being solo for a project is lame, find people to build up amazing maps together!
- Third Party Tools - They are really useful to push beyond the limits of the editor.
NOTE: This means that some links to the forums that were moved/renamed will be invalid.
Warcraft III Aura by shaftm
helwet asked on the forums if that was possible to simulate the Warcraft III visual auras and shaftm implemented it! It is extremly easy using the actors. I'm pretty sure you will like it.
Planetary Boss Hunt by Bounty_98
The map Planetary Boss Hunt is now in beta phase. You should test it out as it's a clever use of third person camera with a nice fighter gameplay. It contains many bosses with a different technique to defeat them each time.
ChessCraft by progammer
Want to play Chess but you can't find any cool one. You will likely like this implementation in Starcraft 2 by progammer. All rules have been implemented and you've got a nice UI for the user interaction.
whats wrong with using the mouse for camera?
You should make asdw control the camera angles
Link to my map until the link is fixed, enjoy guys!

:D I got on the front page
aw, my map link isnt working! lol foo!
Well - there goes 1 of my ideas haha. Nice work man!
At first when i saw the nuke i thought to myself, well thats not chess... then i saw it was bc of check mate :). Now not only do you get to say those 2 taunting words but you melt your opponents pieces with radiation, what could be better? lol
Looks like the chessgame got alot of improvements, I love it.
Especially the timer on having to defend your king when under attack and the 'minimap' topleft could be helpful. Also, the options look easy to use and overall well made.
Really have to try this when I get home :D
Next up: Stratego? :>
