2005 Diablo 3 Tech Demo by egodbout
In this tech demo, you get to see what Diablo 3 looked like in 2005, rendered in the SC2 engine. At the time, the game was in development at Blizzard North, before moving over to Blizzard HQ, with a new team. All sprites for this tech demo were extracted from Diablo 2 and edited to the SC2 engine.
I had to admit, some animation sprites are not perfect, i am still working on it so they look better ( like the necromancer walking animation) but overwall, it working!
I love the creativity and undying passion for this project (I believe I've seen things on this since close to Sc2 release), but how is the sc2 engine handling this?
It seems as though there would be some awful input delay. I really hope the best for this project, but the sc2 engine doesn't seem like the right place.
