The 2D game lib is a basic framework for creating 2D platformer type games in StarCraft 2 which makes gratuitous use translate kinetics (a new data type added in 3.0). With some modifications, the game lib could be used to for any games with a WASD / 8 directional movement controls or even just games with basic 2D physics (tetris, angry birds, flappy bird, canabalt, etc).

This is pretty cool. As an FYI for those of you who want to mess with this, you may want to add a prefix like "Game - " to all the place-able units/blocks. This would allow you to easily find everything you can place. For now, you can find most place-able blocks by searching "Pipes," "Game," "Coin," or "Health."
Also, I use snap to grid (number pad 5) to make everything a nice, even, and meshed well together. The problem is when you get to pipes that lead to hidden areas, it doesn't work so well. It would be nice if the game was designed more towards being able to snap to the grid when it comes to pipes leading to hidden areas and stuff. I feel this is really import for consistent and even placement of blocks, etc.
