Star Lightbikes by Keldrif
If you have just watched the Tron: Legacy movie, you know what this map should be about :) Named Star Lightbikes to avoid copyright infringement, this map has pretty amazing visual and unnoticeable lag. Enjoy it now on Battlenet NA.
@ gimpexe try arenacam or arenacam2 that will give you what you want its not perfect because it breaks on death once and a while but thats priority number 1 right now I have the editor open trying to fix it right now. TPS should be a little better soon as well. Also in tps view try only turning with very short key presses almost taps or hold shift to make 45 degree turns or tap twice for 90s. so far the few people I have played with say after 2 or 3 games the get the timing for jumping walls and turning. I think everyone has a different ping and once you get used to the key press lag you almost don’t notice it. At least for me the lag feels consistent. Heres hoping 1.2 will help with the issues.
i just played it, its a nice map, but could u change the ''''default''' camera.
TPS camera is disastrous, i press the left/right button once, and am totally disorientated.
Birds eye camera would be better in this situation
@ewokest: Working on it kinda i first want to get some feedback on it from a few people so I can finalize and put the finishing touches on then I think I already have some one willing to publish is for me.
when can i play it in EU :O seems really nice. i wannaaaa
Thanks for the Announcement!
I have made many improvements since this video (which I dont really like anyway please somebody make a pretty one for me) so go see it for yourself.
@ johnsmithlol thats what cloak, invincibly, and jump are for, and I could always make a hardcore mode.
@ Skittles17 it uses arrow keys for turning and speed and while I love the complement I do feel the lag on bnet compared to playing it in the editor. but i tried real hard to make it managable.
Definitely should make your vehicle collide with your own light, also if you can decide when to cast light, then you can just box yourself in and never die.
Beats my lite bikes that I released by the sc2 launch date by quite a bit. =D Good job. What's the user using to control which way his bike is going tho? OR is there really a delay?
