Blizzard has just recently added some new spotlighted community maps. This time around, we have Battle for Sky Fortress, which we actually featured on Mapster not too long ago. We also have Uberena, which I haven't had the chance to play, but I remember from the old SC1 days, and it was definitely a fun map. Posted May 24, 2011Yeah same thing happened to Mephs, it no longer shows in co-op vs AI, only in in ALL. I've posted on the bug report forums I don't know what else to do.

Posted May 24, 2011Getting featured might have killed your map actually. It is no longer #1 in Co-op vs AI. It used to be #1 there.

Posted May 23, 2011Well my map (Battle for Sky Fortress) is not super popular, but I would call it a relative success after making it half way up page 2, getting featured, and now sitting relatively steady on page 3 with 1300 bookmarks. Not much compared to a page 1 game, but still.
Not sure how long that can be sustained, and it was pretty tough getting there. I've been trying to get the VS version of the map more popular recently, but it's quite difficult, not sure how I managed to get the co-op so popular so quickly (it was up to page 2 a few days after release).
Being featured by Blizzard is nice, I don't think it really helps popularity though, featured maps are tucked away on their own tab where most people don't look. Still a nice thing to have happened.

The next update planned is the Invasion, so we will get to smash some zerg which is always fun :)
