Aeon of Chaos by Wakeman
Wakeman has created a new DotA style map with some exciting new twists. For now this map has 6 heroes, each with 4 unique abilities, as well as items available for purchase. Once your hero reaches level 3, additional mercenaries will spawn which you can order to advance in the lane of your choice. Ontop of that there's not only 1, but 3 bases you need to destroy to win! an Inventory maybe? When i klick on a hero in any Dotaclomaps i have no chance to see ehat Items he got cause they are such tiny. or just make the text bigger? The HP/MP diplay? There is just nothing, its just black! cool. its black! nice feature!
@PlaylessNamer Ok? so you mean that some of the under-bar should be transparent? Or what should be there instead of the black space and wire frame?
If they just leave it transparent it would look very ugly! And also that under-bar can be changed, just that the must people think doesn't need to be changed.. But look at like THE card game it doesn't have that under-bar.
And why should they make the command card smaller? I need to be that big cause of units like ghost. I think ghost only has like 2-3 empty slots. Also the big command card is great for some maps that has units with a lot of spells.
Is it possible to change the big black box in the GUI? There is so much unused space in it. And i think a 3x4 CommandCard like WC3 is enough, look all this empty slots in it! For what??? To make the shortcutsfield bigger? This is not meaned to ur map, its vs SC2 at all. I cant understand why they do something sensless things! I need no wireframe of my Unit, the potrait is enough. or remove the potrait and let the wireframe there.
So much place bottom there,....cant believe! Just 1 more epic fail by Blizz in this Game!

@Bibendus: well, this is not like some other so-called DotA maps that have no levelable heroes, no items, no unique features, etc. I added a few new features to this map as well as several unique new hero abilities, so try it and you may find it is better than the average DotA maps. :D

@playlessNamer: I understand you are used to the interface of WC3. Though it is unfair to say SC2 interface is not suitable for DotA. Not sure whether you know or not but WC3's DotA is actually based on SC1's Aeon of Strife. Now with the powerful editor of SC2, we can create everything we have in WC3 and more. The different is just the style of the graphic, so you will eventually get used to the graphic and find the map as enjoyable! A practical tips: if you find the words too small to read, try lowering your resolution a bit and the words will appear bigger. Please tell me if you have further suggestion that can help me to improve my map! Thanks!
@Geffz: actually I am not the creator of Aeon of Strife. I started map-making since WC3 but this is my first attempt at making AoS / DotA style map. Nevertheless, I put a lot of effort on this project to make sure it is high quality and fun to play. Feel free to give me feedback after you have tried it, so that I can keep improving my map! another Dota clon... I still play WC3 Dota and there is till now no other map wich can handle to mess with D.O.T.A.! And imo, the Starcraft Universe is not good to make a Dotamap. The models are to small, make them ca. 30-50% bigger The Detaillevel is to high, keep it low to have some overview between Nukes, Skills, clashes. graphikal overkill detected! The itemsslot are shitty in SC2 complete. The complete GUI is Bullshit. There is a window bottom, half big as the screen but if u want to read some infos in it, pff, such small Text, mini icons, ... I hate it so much! placewasting Bullshit! When i klick an enemy Hero i want see wich Items he got. etc,..etc, etc,.....epicfailgui!!!
