I'm moving out shortly and I've finally got room for a proper gaming table - I'm hoping to build my own table with some hills and ideally a nice river, but I'm starting completely from scratch. What's the easiest project for a total beginner to get started with? I'll probably be playing mostly historicals, and ideally I'd like to be able to get as many different configurations out of the table as I can.
