Ha, wow I am an idiot. To anyone that might want to know. Go to the effects tab in data, find scanner sweep and go to the search tab, there is a field to change the range there (default of 13). I don't believe it changes the effects radius but that's easy to change.
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid easy solution but being relatively new to the editor I am still getting used to the somewhat convoluted menus. For the map I am working on I need to increase the range of the scanner sweep ability but I can not find where to change it. I was hoping someone here would know.
