Greetings. I would like to know how to make the 'SOA Mothership Blink' teleport my Nexus accordingly.
The ability works as intended, but the problem I have is that it ignores placement completely. I would like to know how to make it show the Nexus's placement when beginning to teleport as well as what to do to increase the time before teleport finishes.
Or, if it already exists, what other self teleport ability out there does not ignore placement and can be used in our current context?
How do I make it so that I, as a player, cant see the life bars of enemy units? I already went into the actor of a unit, to UI, at status bar groups, and unchecked 'enemy' from that specific actor.
I tried to find what you are talking about, and I failed.
I typed in 'mothership' in the actor's tab to search through all the dependancies, and the only upgrade to mothership related actors were sound actors.
I set the Nexus to train a mothership core and the mothership that the core was supposed to transform into. I had them side by side when I began the morph.
The Mothership was fine. Exactly as i wanted it to be.
The Core transformed into the Mothership, but it still had a Tal'Darim ship stuck in its behind. And even though the same unit was there side by side, their portraits was different, their wireframes were different and their models were different.
The things that are the same are their stats, abilities, weapon and defenses.
I clicked them both to see their group wireframe: its the same. But individually, one of them has a Tal'Darim wireframe!
Upgrade to Mothership for the Core is bugged somehow. The Core upgrades to the Tal'Darim ship. That is easily fixed with a quick look at the ability.
The problem consists of the fact that, even though its specifically selected to be the regular Khalai mothership, it STILL upgrades to the Tal'Darim ship.
And it does it in fashion too! When the upgrade is complete, there show up two motherships! One Khalai, one Tal'Darim. And they are merged into the same being!
Its like they are sharing the same Core. The Khalai one stands still all the time and doesn't rotate. The Tal'Darim one rotates and is capable of moving freely.
I checked to see if its a model or actor bug, but everything related to the Mothership in that department is as blizzard left it to be.
Even the wireframe was that of the Tal'Darim. I looked at the actor and it was set to that of the Khalai. Same deal for the Portrait.
I went and reset the ability... didn't work.
I went to the Mothership in question and set its model to be the Tal'Darim ship. Now I had two Tal'Darim ships stuck in each other. One rotating. One not.

That sounds good and all, but then I remember that I have no knowledge of triggers.
I was hoping this was something that could be done within the data editor.

Greetings.
How do I make it so that I, as a player, cant see the life bars of enemy units? I already went into the actor of a unit, to UI, at status bar groups, and unchecked 'enemy' from that specific actor.
It was a fruitless effort.

Ehm... I did not mingle with any events...
And if it did do a model swap, then why does the Khalai ship still show up when the Tal'Darim one comes up?

Its not from there. Everything is as Blizzard set it to be.
Also, I already made a Core, a Khalai Mother and Tal'Darim one and placed them all side by side when starting the Morph. It was not from the Actors!

What. Did I not already say that I've made a custom morph ability, gave it to the core and the exact same thing happened?
Besides, a user cant deleted whats with blue text, cause its made by Blizz.

You mean, what dependencies?
Only Void Campaign.

Another test.
The problem appears to be from morph abilities in general. This, I've confirmed.

Just ran a different test.
I made a custom Morph to Mothership ability and gave it to the core. It still transformed into the weird Khalai Tal'Darim ship thingy.
So, I went and reset the mothership unit. That didn't do it either.
