    posted a message on Error when testing my own maps

    Fixed it!

    Apparently the problem was the Resolution I was using in SC2. Apparently the Starcraft 2 Editor could not handle it so I had to cut it down to 1920x1080.

    posted a message on Error when testing my own maps

    @s3rius: Go

    It doesn't matter what map I'm trying to test. I've tried my old maps, new maps, empty maps, maps with 2 units etc. I guess I'll just have to re-install the whole game. What bums me out is that the site they are referring me to (http://starcraft2.com/support) is not even a working site.

    Thanks alot for your answers and I hope it will fix itself after a re-install!

    Edit: @EternalWraith: Go That did not work either. But thanks anyway.

    I'll re-install SC2 and get back posting if it works or not.

    Edit2: Re-install did not fix the problem. Too bad.

    posted a message on Error when testing my own maps

    Hi! I've been able to test maps I've made with no problems at all before. But somehow, when I was going to test my map out, I can't even get into the game. My monitor just goes black and I get an error (scroll down for details). I can play Sc2 by itself fine. No problems with that. It's when I'm in the Editor and I press "Test Document" or press "ctrl+f9".

    I've even tried this with not doing anything to the map but putting 1 player1 Zealot and 1 Hostile Zergling to see if that would work. But I still get the error. And as I wrote: I've been able to do maps before. And now, all of a sudden, it does not work. I can't get into SC2 through the map editor. But I can play SC2 normally.

    The error tells me that there is a graphic problem or something. I have updated my graphic card(ATi 5850) to the up-to-date driver it has right now(10.9). I also have Drect X 11.

    But how can it be a graphic problem if I can start the game normally without any problems and play? I've tried to Repair as well, but I still get the same error when testing my own custom map through the Editor.

    I hope someone knows whats wrong or have had the same problem and solved it. Thanks!

    The error:
