Not to sound too critical/picky/dismissive, but I sort of wanted to maintain the core element of individual manipulation, and the issue with targeting other units remains.
Hey, everyone. Super-new to the community here, and relatively new to editing SC2, but this looked like about the best place for help. I searched the forum and saw another post about a similar issue, but it was dicey as to whether or not it actually applied to the issue I've got.
What I've done as a lead-on to something else I'm working on was to drastically reduce the size of most units compared to the buildings, and play around with the scaling to give it all a more-or-less realistic look. In addition to playing around with a couple building resizes and footprint changes, this had the side effect of increasing the practical size of the map by about 4x. Great so far. The only downside is that it's difficult to near-impossible to manipulate smaller infantry like Marines, Ghosts, Spectres, Zerglings, etc. once the game is being run.
In short, I'm looking for any practical advice as to how to increase the level of zoom on the in-game camera to make it so the player can manipulate his infantry. Thanks for taking the time to read and (hopefully) respond.
