didn't worked for me! having 2 mirror images one does still trigger the death event (no clues why, both die after the same time, only one triggers).
my workaround looks bit different:
the effect that destroys the hallucinations on the timedlife buff is set to timedlife death type. validating the death type works out for me. hope this might help anyone
also needs an behavior to nullify deadly damage and kill the unit with the needed death type
my bet is still pathfinding :d and since it makes sense (somehow) you could give it a try. if i were you i would copy the map, remove pathing and test it again
oh dear and no1 else was so friendly to do that for me. well there are tutorials how to hide certain parts of the UI, just search for "Layout" "hide" "UI".
i am not sure if the trigger part gonna help you. there is a trigger to hide certain frames of the UI, maybe your ones too
i cannot correctly open the map due to hots depencies but from what i see i would say it's the terrain. pathfinding isn't easy and yolu have lots of different layers.
using the "painting" i would try to avoid difficult geometrical objects, just plain and straight rectangles ( you have quite complex ones)
how about spawning it at the caster position, then adding a buff to make it fly and then move it to target position or use photoloss way to spawn at closest pos
aquire distance is in game data (Data editor - (advanced) Game Data). It's just called different. if you are planning to set it to maximum, so whereever your unit is it will attack closest enemy, you should'n have many units. the lag will be terrible. i tried this already( in wc3 this way worked perfectly well)
as far as i understand your post you have one (or more?) warpgate, you can spawn 2 zealots or 1 stalker. if you spawn the stalker the whole warpgate shall go on cooldown until the charges are recharged? same after spawning 2 zealots.
i would use dummy instant abilities. first of all add requirements to all abils to hide if the warpgate has a certain disable behavior.
now add a trigger that adds the disable behavior when spawning a unit and no charges are left.
then issue order the warpgate to cast the dummy ability. when the buff runs out the real abilities are shown again.
there must be a post on the blizz forum as part of the submission. some of the posts do not fulfill the minimum requirements for a rtc-post.

you need an attribute called plasmashield or w/e
Custom layoutfiles adding an image frame to the hero info pane and moving the attribute label to the right place.
on map init you have to hook the image frame and set the image (if it shall look like the others you have to create it yourself) and tooltip with triggers.
the tooltip should have a data reference to an dummy effect value.
now everytime the shieldarmor is changing (only buffs or upgrades possible), which is quite easy to track, you have to set the value of the dummy effect to the armor value.
