Is there a way to add more then one requirement in order for a structure to be built? (gateway and cyber core are required to build a higher tier structure)
Is there a way to count the number of players in a game? I need to because then I can enable/disable triggers based on the number of players in order to balance the game.
Ok, so I am really bad at using the map editor, but have come up with a little trigger for spawning. I'm using the "Pick each unit in unit group" action and I filled everything else out but can't seem to find a way to make this say "at least" instead of "at most". (see below) I'm doing this because I need to count the number of buildings a player has, and then spawn units based on the number of buildings they have, so I need to say the player has "at least 1 building", not "at most 1 building". Or is there another way to do this? I'm so bad at the editor and may be missing an extremely obvious way to do this. :P
EDIT: DO NOT WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE IN THE PICTURE. I SUCK AT TRIGGERS lol....
Ah, I'm not the best at the triggers and such, so I don't understand everything you said, but I will play around and see if I can come up with anything : EDIT: I got the first thing you said, the trigger launches periodically (every 30 secs) now, but I don't understand really anything in the second paragraph. Could you explain it more/tell me where I put the stuff(event/condition/action) in the second paragraph. Thanks!
Thanks for replying btw to my first post :D
I've been searching for days and trying random stuff in the trigger editor, but still can't find out how to make a tug of war spawning system similar to desert strike. You get a probe and you build structures that are supposed to spawn units every time it is your turn based on the number buildings you have (there are multiple types of buildings). Does anybody know how to replicate that spawning system?
Damn, the trigger didn't work how I wanted it to D: It prevented EVERYONE from making probes after one AI got 5 probes. At least it helped me learn about the trigger editor, so it wasn't a waste of time :)
EDIT I have the event and action perfect, but where are those conditions you mentioned? I only have "and" "comparison" "not" "or" "within bounds" "Text has been set" D:
Thanks for replying! I'll try that and see if it works. The main reason I want them to stop making workers is so they actually make an army (my map is sort of a melee variant)
EDIT:(question) How do I change the unit training progress event from "any unit" to "probe"?
I'm very new to the triggers section of the sc2 editor, and I'm wondering if there is a way to make the AI in my custom map stop building workers if they have 5 or more workers already on the map
