every zero point something 0.X seconds
ACTIONS: add all units in region for player 1 to unit group for player 1 (this i'm not sure if it's right, but i'm sure there's a way to add for a specific player, not just alliances)
IF: if unit of unit group for player 1 is alive
THEN: move unit for unit group of player 1 to center or random point in region
IF: if unit blah play 1 is not alive
THEN: create 1 unit for blah player 1 at point in front of barracks
add last created unit to unit group for player 1
remove player 1 unit from player 1 unit group
SAME THING FOR PLAYER 2
EDIT: also ALSO as for the timer window thing... make a timer variable... start that timer variable... create a timer window, set last created timer window to = ANOTHER variable. after you start timer, set timer for the given timer window variable to that timer, and when another timer starts, set the timer for timer window to the next timer. if you just need to change the text for the timer, just set title/text/whatever for timer window
hey guys, just wanted to say ur map is what inspired my zombies map... so i'll give you a good tip i used to boost the gameplay in mine. At the completion of certain objectives (in mine you held a communications post for several seconds) you can have a squad of vikings fly a round nearby and bomb everything in their path... How i did it is as follows:
5 vikings spawn and are incontrollable or selectable, but they spawn on an allied team so you can see em. They fly to a given point, and every .35 seconds, explosive barrels spawn underneath them (at their positions) on a random team owned by players (so every player can inherit kills from the strike). The explosive barrels have miniaturized models so you can't see em, and they have -99999 health regen. I modified the damage parameters so that they can only hurt enemies, not neutral, allied, or self owned units. After they reach a given region, the vikings vanish and the bombs stop...
it worked beautifully in my map and i'm sure you can use it without more than an hour's effort.
once again congratulations on the outstanding map... I admit i might not revisit this thread, so pm me if you like the idea... thnks
EDIT: you may also have to remove the footprint and pathing requirements on the explosive barrels so they can land wherever the vikings are flying

...all of this aside, and call me an idiot, but i found this thread to post something. Do you know how to attach models, and have you ever played timesplitters 3? if you have, you could probably modify an infection mode into this, in which those who are tagged by a randomly chosen zombie join the zombie team. the attached models could be green tinted flames (EXACTLY like in TS3) that appear around a zombie when someone joins the zombie team...
another idea might be to (if you haven't already) add in bots, but not like zombies, bots that make up the teams if you don't have enough players
this could and would turn it into a full throttle battlefield map in which their are large teams with bots and players trying to fight over an objective.
just some stupid suggestions, but i know drastic updates are the only things that saved my zombies map
...also i'd hate to be an ass but can ya check out my zombies map page (there are vids)?

Why not just make a final poll if mafia or battle planets should be the first map (after everything with publishers etc. is settled). If the decision doesn't come from polls anyway, then meh, why did you make them? To create the illusion of actual participation?
Just a reminder: Taking a map against the will of a lot of people might cost you the few supporters you have.

as for motw, here's what we've got so far
1) first week's map was voted battle planets on 3 polls, but mods and premiums argued on behalf of mafia (since it's already popular and will help the project get a huge initial popularity boost) and there were also multiple votes for "we're rushing this" and "no for battle planets" which when added up effectively said no for battle planets, but it was also a multi vote so it's confusing at this point
2) Sixen is the NA publisher
3) So far Exaken is the EU publisher, unless votes change
4) rodrigo is busy, so the mods, me, keyesx, IliIliI, and a few others are discussing the current issues and updating polls and candidate lists
5) chocolate rain

6) ok back on track, we're focusing also on advertising methods, the issue with the first map, and how fast or slow to work through these matters

hey guys, just wanted to say ur map is what inspired my zombies map... so i'll give you a good tip i used to boost the gameplay in mine.
