Ok i have done as much as you guys said can it has no requirements and my marine does have energy. The snipe ability is set to only take10 out of the 100 energy the marine has. The only problem left is that the ingame hotkey button doesnt show up.
Hey everyone. I need help with the data editor. I have searched these forums and the internet and cant seem to find a solution to my problem. I am trying to give a dedicated unit (marine) the ghosts snipe ablity. I have already copied the ability and put it on the marines ability list along with stimpack. I gave it a button on the marines hotkey list. I click on the hotkey button in the editor and it says in the dropdowns
Command Type- ability command
Requirements- none
Ability- ghost sniper
Ability command- sniper round
I test the document and click on my marine and the button isnt there. I set it to passive and i could see the snipe button but it couldnt be pressed and said "can only target biological units" if i hovered over it.
How do i make this button show up and work as the ghosts sniper ability does?
Hey everyone, i have searched google and these forums and cant seem to find what i am looking for. I also tried figuring it out on the SC2 editor.
I am trying to give units agility but also in an icon or text when you select a unit. Kind of like when you drag over the weapon box on a marine it says weapon damage speed etc. Also how to make agility effect a dodge percentage.
Thanks for your help.

not the field of view for the screen but for each unit. its still the same starcraft melee top down view
For example if i have a marine facing north and a zergling is right under him or behind him the zergling is still in the fog of war, so the marine cant see it or shoot it, unless the player has another marine facing the zergling

Hey everyone, i have searched on these forums and google and i cant figure out how to create a field of view.
I would like to create a field of view where you can see 180 degrees in front of you but cannot see behind you
Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks for your help, Jacob
