Well, I've played WoW since the very beginning until 2009-2010 (can't remember). It was fun. But way to addictive.
The following thoughts are from the year I finished the playing the game. It might have changed so don't judge me.
If you want to raid - wow constricts your time. You have to spend time in game and you are not really free when it comes to IRL. That is the biggest problem. Of course you can go casual but it would be just hanging around towns with guild buddies and going to some heroics from time to time. And maybe a low tier raid or two.
If you want to go PvP however, and have a good arena partner, you can play more freely and use your free time as you want.
I would also like to mention that a good buddy is almost a requirement not only for PvP but for everything else too.
Now I play EVE Online. It is a much more mature MMO. It has a quite realistic market which I like to study from time to time with various excel sheets. Calculate production efficiencies, costs, etc. It is kind of related to my university program.
PvP is also quite fun, and especially fleet battles where you fight 500v500 or even more, corporation wars for space and planets, and so on.
The downside is that it is really really hard to get into the game. Learning curve is very steep, there is no level limit like in other MMOs, so it almost impossible to catch up, and understanding everything in the game takes years.
The really good thing that I like about EVE is that you are not required to be online a lot. You can play when you want and skills are going up even when you're offline. Money can also be set up to increase when you are attending university "activities" and trying to crawl back home.
The action bar needs scaling down imo. But besides that i loved it. Can't wait.
Are there gonna be any custom models? Or only those that are already in the editor?
Is it with the new patch or what, but I noticed one tiny good thing.
If you are alt tabed from SC2, running a browser for example, and someone writes you in game, your sc2 icon in windows 7 task bar starts blinking like a messenger.
I am not really good a triggering and everything, but wouldn't it be better to have the squad be a unit with invisible model with one health bar and one selection circle below them. Then just add some untargetable units around it that do stuff the same way people already made them do in this thread.
I've discussed this with some friends, and one of them also thought that it could be a different ending to WoL.
It is possible if we think about all the things that happened.
About it being fake or not. I have to say it looks pretty legit. It follows the previous storyline pretty well since, as told before kerrigan has not been deinfested completely. She still had that creepy hair at the end.
I didn't like the ending at all. Very cheesy. In addition, i have never seen anything leaked by blizzard. They are getting worse and worse with each project they make. Blizzard's demise started with lich king, the we got sc2 story line which was also very cheesy and predictable and now heart of the swarm.
I am giving my all hopes to Diablo III. IF they fail there I have nothing to say. I will just be in deep depression, remembering good times of playing SC1 WC3 Diablo2... They were epic.
Up until now I thought that blizz was the only company who did the how it was in the old days. I am really really disappointed. You just can't imagine how I miss those days.... :(
F* you Activision!!!
This is basically the first time I opened the editor :D
I say basically because I've been trying to do this week's WDE too.
Here it goes - a protoss castle.

Add me to the list. Algirdyz.901 (EU)
It was my favorite map in wc3 and it will probably be in sc2, but I never get the chance to try it out. No people actually play it.

Are the first 2 pictures on the starcraft engine already?

Wow, that is very nice play. I wonder why I don't see such moves in GSL matches and stuff. :D

This is amazing. I laughed so much at the dialogs and the abilities are purely epic!
