I've been fooling around with this and have no idea where to begin. All of my attempts have failed.
I'm attempting to create an ability which attaches a cable from one unit to another, using the model GateControlCables_00.m3.
All of my attempts have lead to site operations failures, and I dont know if it's even possible to add attachment points. Does anyone have any actor tutorials/examples/whatever they can point me to?
The panel shows up. The minimap shows up, as well. In fact, even the preview window which previews the unit shows up. There is a list of preplaced units that shows up. The section of the ui which you choose units and place them is not appearing.
Would you be willing to create a map with all of the units in the campaign dependency and then uploading it? I'd be able to use it as a palette to copy and paste from. I'd very much appreciate it.

I'm on a Mac, so I think that might be part of the problem. When choosing the unit layer in the editor, there is no palette to search unit types and place them from. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I've disabled a setting somewhere.
I've already checked all the settings in the view -> UI menu. I've reinstalled the game, deleted all of the Blizzard library files and reinstalled again.
I can still copy and move units that are preplaced, so I'm hoping someone would be willing to help me with a workaround: Can you create a map and place all of the campaign units, and then upload it? I'd be very grateful.
I also tried reinstalling the game, doing a parameter reset on the machine and deleting all of the starcraft II preferences and library files and reinstalling again.

I saw another poster with this problem, so I'm imagining it's some kind of auto-upate bug that hasn't been caught by blizzard yet.
At any rate, has anyone occured a problem where the Unit Palette no longer allows you to place new units? Units can be moved, copied and pasted on the Terrain editor, but the unit palette doesn't show up at all.
If anyone has a fix, or would be willing to provide me a temporary workaround (consisting of all of the units in the Campaign Dependency placed on a map) I would be very grateful.
Created a Mod, Published it.
Created a Tutorial, with the mod as the dependency, Published it.
Created a Map, and in the Arcade Info sections, I intended to set the above mentioned Tutorial as the tutorial map, except the browser window that pops up cant see any of my battle.net maps.

Yes, it is checked.

Switching to table view had no effect.

No, all of that was tried before posting :)
I also tried reinstalling the game, doing a parameter reset on the machine and deleting all of the starcraft II preferences and library files and reinstalling again.
No dice :(

I came here to post the exact same problem.
I'm thinking that there was a recently added patch that broke this functionality.
Keep in mind, Galaxy Editor updates every time we open it.
How do we go about reporting bugs to the big heads?

Yeah, if that's the solution then that's the solution. Maybe that bug will be fixed in HOTS.
Thanks man.

Here are my steps:
Created a Mod, Published it. Created a Tutorial, with the mod as the dependency, Published it. Created a Map, and in the Arcade Info sections, I intended to set the above mentioned Tutorial as the tutorial map, except the browser window that pops up cant see any of my battle.net maps.
Anyone encounter this, or a solution?
