I have created some upgrades for an Extension Mod, and put them researchable in buildings. I have tested to see that they do infact work...
But they're researchable multiple times. How do I fix this?
Since last time I got help from ThePreserver, I was able to import a model. And it worked. It was a portrait.
But now I need help on how to import a model that has proper textures.
I can import all the files just fine, but the model appears textureless, just glowing blue.
Is there anything I'm missing? I've tried importing textures first, no luck. I've also tried restarting after you import textures, and then import models. Still doesn't work.
I don't know why it isn't working. I've tried saving the imported, and project, but doesn't work.
It's the SpiderMine Portrait by Thrikodias. It's only one file (an .m3)
It seems to work fine in the Cutscene Editor. I see it's animations, models, and textures all fine.
For some reason, whenever I try to use an imported model on an actor, It simply doesn't appear in the list.
I want to be able to use these custom models and portraits found on Assets. Can't find out how, or why it doesn't work for me.
It's probably a really simple answer, but I want to know so I can get into this.
I get problems too. My file is 1.91 MB big and a lot seem to be having this problem starting August.
It may have to do with the DDoS attacks on the Americas server for battle.net.
There are very remote times you can publish. Most of the day you can't. I was able to publish early in the day (12:17-1:06 PM EDT) though.

Dude. You are great. Thank you. You solved my problem and now I can use custom models. Really. I can't express how thankful I am.

I don't know how to work that. EDIT: The only thing I was able to import and use were Icons.
