There's no way to avoid going negative the first time you run through the final level, but you shouldn't go negative for the second run through. The end game sequence changes based on how you do on that last attempt. There are 4 different endings.
Also, you lose when you go negative popularity, but you can't lose after level 48. I didn't want to jip people who lose on level 49.
oh ok. well i'm glad to hear that i'm supposed to fail the first time XD. i just wish i hadn't gone negative the second time around... =(. And i also like your idea that you can't lose after level 48, cause i definitely would have lost and been like, "whaaaatttt????"
This is definitely one of, if not the most, entertaining TDs i've played in a long time. I like everything about it! Sure, some of the events are confusing and made me think that I had lost, but it didn't put a dent in my endearment for this custom map.
One question, though. Is it possible to end the game with a positive amount of popularity? Or are you supposed to go negative at the end? Do you lose if you go negative in your popularity?
Need the following SC1 units converted from Warcraft 3 to Starcraft 2:
Terran Firebat, Protoss Arbiter Tribunal, Protoss Observatory, Protoss Robotic Support Bay, Terran Armory, Terran Engineering Bay
I don't get what you're asking. There is already a firebat unit on SC2, an armory, and an engineering bay. The other 3 are reasonable, but there is a robotics support bay building that you could use in place.
Hey there sc2mapster community, I'm posting this cause I am having a little difficulty with trying to completely cancel the construction of a building and get a refund from it.
When I start constructing a building, I have all of the correct buttons like Cancel, Halt, and Select Worker, but whenever I use one of these commands, the SCV stops constructing it (this part is fine), but the building seems to be left standing in a construction phase that doesn't display any of the buttons I have assigned to its command card.
Therefore, once I start building the building in question, i can't back out of it and get a refund from building it. Any idea as to why this is?

I just talked about this with my brother, and he talked about how if they didn't throw his body into the sea, Muslims could take the body and then probably make a shrine of him to go to and pay their respects. Having the body of a martyr and dead leader could possibly increase the motivation and morale of terrorists to continue what they are doing today, which is by no means a good thing.

dudes, this looks pretty legit! The weapons and how you implemented them is perfect IMO. It's not too much or too little, it's juuust right. I'm liking where this is going.
i thought that you could just adjust the z-axis in the data editor? I am not 100% sure you can, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Just go to the model or actor file and change it there if it's possible.
Hello there sc2mapster community. I come with a question regarding unit selection priority.
My current situation is that I have a barracks with a custom actor (House Large model) and when I build a marine out of the barracks, it is impossible for me to select the marine if it is located behind the structure in-game. Also, even if the marine is out in front, I still seem to select the barracks 4/5 times when I try to drag-select.
Is there a way I can make it so it prioritizes the selection of the marine over the barracks? Or for that matter, just any unit over any structure?
I would very much appreciate any help with this problem and would be very grateful for anyone's help.
On a side-note, I am having trouble with selecting any unit that is behind any structure that I have edited its actor for my map.
I changed it so the new unit uses the same actor sounds. The only thing I can't figure out now is why there's no flame spouting from the end of the gun like there is for a normal marine. This editor really is craptastic. The Warcraft 3 editor was much easier to use.
The editor may be harder to understand at first, but it is definitely not bad. My suggestion is that you don't copy the marine, but instead just edit the marine unit itself. This will make things a lot easier to manage as everything you want will already be there.
Finally, apparantly the editor also does not list many of the models in the model list. For example, I cannot find Tosch or Nova's model in the model lists.
