I need help exporting model from universe at war, the game, into starcraft 2. Universe at war works with .meg files so can someone please be of good assistance?
Hm ok....sorry 'bout that. Its pretty much this. u just need to make it again (The issue order trigger) Cinematic
Events
Game - Map initialization
Local Variables
Conditions
Actions
Cinematics - Turn cinematic mode On for (All players) over Default seconds
Unit - Order Your Unit to (Your Command targeting Your Point) (Replace Existing Orders)
Thank you very much. I knew how to do the cinematic, it was just having the dropship unload 4 probes that was a challenge for me :/. Like i tried that load cargo units thing and idk... i get confused with the galaxy editor.
Can someone pleaaase help me with starting a level with the game in cinematic mode, following the Protoss drop ship. I want the drop ship to unload 5 probes. Can somone also help me with making like a few spawns of enemy units to attack the base like in wanted time
I've got a custom unit that i am making with the model of a stargate. I called it the Spear Ship. I will post the videos in just a while, I need help finding out how to make him.... rotate
I'm copying everything this douchebag wrote. "Example : Commando with Cloak (step by step)
1) Create a new map with Campaign dependencies.
2) Open the Data Editor (F7)
3) Go to Data Type : Units
4) Right click on any unit and choose "Add Object...".
5) Complete the following fields :
Name : Commando
ID : Commando (suggest button)
Based On : Default Settings (Unit)
Object Family : Campaign
Race : Terran
Object Type : Unit
Field Values : Copy From : Tychus Findlay (Commando)
Click OK
6) Go to Data Type : Actors
7) Right click on any actor and choose "Add Object...".
8) Complete the following fields :
Name : Commando
ID : Commando (suggest button)
Actor Type : Unit
Based On : GenericUnitBase
Doodad Type : Not Doodad
Field Values : Copy From : Tychus Commando
Click OK
9) We must now associate the new actor to the unit. Select the new actor Commando.
On the right, you see a Token with the name "Unit Name".
Right click on the value "Tychus Findlay (Commando) and choose "Modify Value".
Select Commando (the new unit). Click OK.
10) Look "Art - Model", "Art - Model (Build)" and "Art - Model (Placement)".
You see "Commando (Unknown)". This model doesn't exist.
Modify all these values with the model "Tychus Commando".
11) To the sounds, look "Sound - Group Sounds" and "Sound - Sounds".
To "Sound - Group Sounds", remove all values.
To "Sound - Sounds", keep values Attack, Pissed, Ready, What and Yes. Remove other values.
12) Go to Data Type : Abilities
13) Right click on any ability and choose "Add Object...".
14) Complete the following fields :
Name : Personal Cloaking
ID : CommandoCloaking
Ability Type : Behavior
Based On : Default Ability (CAbilBehavior)
Race : Terran
Field Values : Copy From : Ghost - Personal Cloaking
Click OK
15) On the new ability, edit "Editor - Editor Prefix". Value : Commando -
16) To remove the requirement, go to "Ability - Commands+". Select the command "On".
In the Requirements section, click the X button (Remove Requirement). Click OK.
17) Go to Data Type : Units
18) Select Commando.
19) On Ability - Abilities+, add the ability "Commando - Personal Cloaking".
20) On Ability - Command Card+, select an empty slot and add 2 buttons : Cloak and Decloak.
Cloak button :
Command Type : Ability Command
Ability : Commando - Personal Cloaking
Ability Command : Cloak (Ghost)
Decloak button :
Command Type : Ability Command
Ability : Commando - Personal Cloaking
Ability Command : Decloak
21) Commando needs energy
Stats - Energy Maximum : 200
Stats - Energy Regeneration Rate : 0.5625
Stats - Energy Starting Amount : 50
Finish. "
But every time i am on Step 9, My unit does not come up in the list and it is freaking annoying.
