One major flaw with this is, if the current map of the week turns out to be great, then when a new map is uploaded for the next week, what happens to that old map? How do you ensure that people who play this map of the week know what map it is they are playing? So they can continue to play it.
im interested if any map makers are making a map on the same scale of The Black Road. That map was and still is epic on war3. I feel alot of the maps being churned out at the moment are doing one of 2 things;
1) Spending loads of time on flashy animations and not actual game content
2) Spending way too much time time making "teaser" videos for youtube, and not acutally delivering anythign half decent if anything at all. Except some "epic" teaser, with the same re used orchestrated hype music and same, "omg this is gonna be amazing, look at this spell".
I know its a big bump, but the question is exactly relevant to mine. I am finding it difficult to find the really good RPG maps. Can anyone link to any of the major RPG maps that are perhaps still in developement, as I would be keen to help beta test stuff, or any quality RPG maps that are out and still in development?

It just feels like cheap spam to me.
