Well, I've played Runling Run a few times, and I LOVE it's save/load system. I'm also aiming to make an RPG, and I would love this technology for my map. So, how do they do it?
I was wondering of one could take textures from multiple maps. By textures I mean like whats on the ground. Because I need a good desert terrain while choosing Agria (I hate the yellow grass texture, not only for desert). Is there a way to change a ground texture to a texture from another world?
Solved, there's just a button on the "Map Textures" window.
Alright, I don't have IM, but we could add on starcraft, and I could show you my terrain, it's not nearly done yet, and you could adapt it for your map. Also I can and will do some triggers. So what's your name/character code in starcraft 2? If you don't want everyone to know it you can just PM me.
Well, is anyone making a real RPG? And if so, I have a terrain that you can use. Also I'll help you make it, just tell me what to do. I have basic skills, so if it's anything advanced, you'll have to teach me how to do it.
EDIT: By REAL I mean the whole save/load RPG with multiple classes and heroes and such.
So will anyone help me? I really have no idea how to change the "custom value" nor what the custom value is. So what is the custom value and how the hell do I edit it?
This is probably a really noob question, but how do I change where units are facing after I place them on my map? I'm trying to make guards, but they're just looking away from where I want them to look. So, how do I change where they're facing is the general question.
Also, I'm trying to make a button activated menu. That means there's a button, if you click it then you get the equipment menu. I've seen it done, but I don't know how to do it. Any more input?
Well, I am a total noob to editing, but I LOVE it, and I want to make a good RPG for Starcraft 2, of course that needs equipment, and because there isn't an item menu (unlike warcraft 3) I need a menu for equipment. If anyone wouldn't mind telling me how to do this, that would be great!

How do I change the custom value? I have no idea what the hell this "custom value" is, let alone how to edit it.
