well just found somthing out but not sure what the deal is. i did have my first map i made showing in my single player maps as well as 3 others from other people and all the blizzard maps. after messing with the serach stuff on multiplayer maps it all changed now i have all the blizzard maps and 4 maps from different people all together and none of mine showing in single... did they put in some kind of system where the single player maps are constantly changeing and random?
well i just gave that a try and i can see and play the map online... playd it once to try and see if it ends up into my single players maps like my first map and it didnt do anything. been looking at some other posts and i do see many others have the same problem cept nobody seems to say a fix that much... anyone come across anything?
ok, my problem is that after i have made my map, i go ahead and publish it to bnet. Its intended to be a melee type map. Ive made one so far before and thats there no problem. This one however will not show up in my list of maps when i go to play a single player game vs the AI. I have double checkd everything, map settings, game variants, players and the like and see no difference in anything from my first map... so i have hit a wall on whats wrong... anyone have any sugestions?
ok so heres my goal, im trying to add in the light bridge doodad.
i have the terrain object in as well as the light bridge. i have a region over it all and im trying to have it so the bridge animation activates whenever a unit pass's into the region and then turns off afterwards when it leaves the region. i have been able to get this done without any problem (when just one unit runs thru the region)...
the problem is when more then one unit runs thru the region it will turn off when the triggering unit leaves. thus turning off the light bridges animation. even when there are more units in the region...
im thinking my triggers arnt the right ones to be using but then again im new to this lol. if there is a simple on and off trigger that i havnt found just let me know :)
heres my current trigger setup:
Bridge 1 ON ->
Event: Unit - Any Unit Enters Region 001.
Local Variables: none,
Conditions: none,
Action: Trigger - Turn (Current Trigger) On, Animation - Play Stand Work animation on Monlyth Light Bridge doodads in the region Region 001 as Default, using Play Forever options and Default Time blend time
Bridge 1 OFF ->
Event: Unit - (Unit attached to Region 001) Leaves Region 001.
Local Variables: none,
Conditions: none,
Action: Trigger - Turn Bridge 1 ON Off, Animation - Clear the Default animation for Any doodads in the region Region 001
im still playing around but if anyone knows anything id really apreciate the help :)
