I'm trying to modify what my Barracks will be producing. I tried to go into Data -> Abilities -> Barracks - Train -> Ability, and then modify
'Train Marine, Train reaper, Train Ghost, Train Marauder'. I wanted to have each of those abilities train 3 of each instead of one. So Train Marine would train 3 marines instead of one, which works by itself. but when I go to change Train Reaper, to produce 3 Reapers, it changes the Train Marine ability to produce a marine, and two reapers???
What's really good?? Is there something I'm missing that's overriding the other?
For all who were interested: Note the difference between saving as a Map, and saving as a Mod. Also, check your File > Dependencies > and add a new directory.
Thanks, Zetal! I'll see about that work-around for now. I'm just worried about accumulating a laaarge number of assets, and having to copy/paste them all.
and thanks for the "but be sure to copy the base stuff first- Model, Actor, Abilities, then unit", I wasn't aware of that.
Let's say I created a super marine with a few special abilities. How do I save that one modified marine, to where I can import it across different maps? It seems like I have to save the map as a whole, rather than save a specific unit, ability, etc. What gives?? :(

I'd simply like to know how to edit what a building produces. For example:
Instead of a Barracks creating 1 Marine, let's say, I'd like it to produce a Marine and a Zergling.
This how-to may already be available on this site, however, I could not find it. If so, can someone direct me??
