.01 movement speed means that it is unable to turn or move completely.

The map that I used this particular method in only has passive abilities, several of which I intended to be active while bashed, and so it was not necessary to disable abilities completely. This was of course just a few simple pointers to send them in the right direction, and by no means the best solution for everyone.

Do you guys want a full fleshed guide or would a few pointers be helpful?

For the unit that you want to be able to use bash, make a behavior

Tab over to the combat tab of the behavior, set the damage response chance to whatever you want, like .2 for 20%.

Move down set the damage response event thingy to attacker.

Set the handled effect to an effect that applies a different behavior.

Have this behavior set the targets range to 0 and movespeed to .01 and voila.

thats it for pointers, if nobody else does, I could make a simple guide after I finish my map

Except I don't use the campaign dependencies. Besides, weren't you having a problem publishing instead of the problem I'm having?

I had a similar issue, but I found that spamming publish eventually results in a success, even when changing variants doesn't. This might not work for everyone though <3

posted a message on "unable to open map" error

I have a map that I've been working on since patch 13, and it was working fine in both the editor and online before phase 2. After Phase 2, aside from all the other glitches that everyone else is having, my map refuses to open online. It works just fine in the editor, but after I publish it to bnet I get an "unable to open map" error.

I can host the room, invite people even other people can host the darn map, but when it starts, it will give everyone an unable to open map error. The map is Frantic Arena Beta if anyone wants to try it out for themselves.

Anyone have an idea for beating this nasty little bug? I'm running out of them myself.

Possibly unrelated, all player color options are names of custom units in game. I would really like to fix this somehow lol

    update :

Blizzard fixed this themselves. map works now.
