Okay from now on I am gonna put all of my map problems here, because I cant keep creating threads for one problem, Okay maybe its because of the unit I am using, Im using a Virophage feederling from the campaign I need to make it controllable and make it give resources when killed.
The idea of Upgrade wars is to destroy the other sides mining laser, you choose what path you wanna take to counter your opponets. there are five paths total. Now the only thing I need to figure out is how to make a research ability, after I do that I can finish the first release (which I hope to get out some time today) However I need map testers to figure out balancing issues and other things. (any testers and any help will be included in the credits!)
I looked at the Unit_KillRecource already and tried changing every single one how do I make it so it give one mineral for being killed?
See the reason i wanna know this is because i am making a map called Upgrade wars, and my plans are to make it so you build units and try to destroy the enemy buildings, and to advance in tech you have branches of upgrades
I got that far, the only problem is that when i change the command center train set I cant pick train (prisoner zealot) because its not normally trainable can you tell me how to make the train command?
I have looked through several threads and none of them have helped me, I need to figure out how to make a building (command Bio-Dome) able to train a unit that doesn't have a preset train ability (Prisoner Zealot) I already set up the command bio dome with the command centers train ability, and tried to change the things it could train but I could not find a Train prisoner zealot ability...
Also how do I make an upgrade that changes all current units on the field, and make it so you can only purchase the upgraded unit?
Hey I am having some problems making this map third/ first person view on this Viking, Can anyone help at all? I have looked through some of the tutorials but most of them I cant quite understand or they are too focused on one thing. I have it set to follow player ones selected units thats all working good and fine.. But the problem is that I cant go in and get it too view from the back of the Unit and follow it up close... Everything else is working fine but I need some help with the Triggers. Here is what I have:
Camera - Follow for player 1 (Selected units for player 1) with the camera and Clear Current Target
So all it does is follow the selected unit (which I want it to have to be selected for a reason) but it will not view it in the direction I want it to, I have tried regions, model camera, zoom, Nothing works.. So if anyone can help with me here that would be great :D

How do you make your own research ability? Like all of the research buildings (cyber core, armory and so on) have their own research ability.

(probably an easy answer...) How do I make a Critter controllable? because when i spawn one on the map it automatically goes into neutral.
